  1. Hope its not more than a short time out. Wish him a speedy recovery. Cupacoffee rode well when Wolves were down but wont cover Bucks scoring. Gives Belle Vue a chance 4-6 in it. Forecast for Monday is dry with sunny periods.
  2. Are you having a go at Poolekeith? He is supporting the brits over Brady.
  3. Well you could save a quid and watch PL speedway with no "quality riders" and NL wobblers at reserve. The price is not bad value for money. PL is virtually the same price. We pay the same price at Poole and see it as good value for money. Wasn't Coventry V Poole good value for money? You were there were'nt you?
  4. Fantastic news. He hit the ground running and has gone from strength to strength. Fully deserved.
  5. Always confusing when people call lunchtime dinner. Dinner to me is the evening meal. Rain clearing by 3 pm is whet the latest bbc forecast has just said.
  6. Dont forget you can watch this live on C More Sport every Tuesday live. Takes possibly three minutes to setup the moneysports app on Kodi and you are done. Its a standard definition picture but far better than a stream with loads of adds and trying to find that little grey square button.
  7. I eent my my grandad to Swindon v (i think it was Oxford in 1973) I remember him watching and saying what a load of rubbish as first out of the start wins the race. He was not impressed and couldnt understand why anyone would bother to watch it. The racing is just as good now as it was back in the day. IMO
  8. If both teams are full strength, I think Poole should run out by 6-8 point winners. Should be a cracker for Sky.
  9. Wheres it started raing? Not Poole as I am looking out the window to dry roads. Moon is clear to see as are the stars. No rain at all since before 3 pm.
  10. Rain stopped and drying out. No more rain today looking at the weather radar. Perhaps this could have gone ahead after all. Depends on how the track had held up. Probably the right call but with a dry rest of the day due it would have gone ahead had it been on Sky.
  11. No suprise but still disappointing. Oh well roll on Monday when we face BV on Sky.
  12. Some very good racing tonight but the crowd must have escaped from a crown bowls tournament. Just polite clapping?
  13. Then why not have a slightly scaled down version? If there is less room, and he knows the measurements of both areas, its a simple maths equation. If the Cardiff space is 7% smaller, reduce the measurements by 7%.
  14. But thats how he was riding for Poole, so he didnt want to ride for them either? Just bad bad form.
  15. Weather is looking decidedly dodgy for Wednesday with rain in the area most of the day. Pain as the only wet day this week. Mind you plenty of spare Wednesdays free in June.
  16. Your post falls at the first hurdle. Chris Holder is clear at the top of the GP standings currently and rides all three main leagues.
  17. Poland find themselves in a flux. They have lost Gollob but havent got his replacement. Hampel is a boring ride with little in the way of petsonality on or off a bike. Never be world champion. Of the new up and comers, Zmarslik, Dudek look good but not at the level needed with any consistency. Janowski is very good but will he be a world beater? Not so sure but time will tell. Lots of good riders on fast bikes, but not sure one will leap up to the next level of Gollobs class.
  18. They choke when it matters. Too afraid to face a proper rest of the world team. Where is Woffinden, Pedersen, Holder, Hancock? If they were riding it would be 35-55.
  19. For those that missed it last night, it is being repeated in full right now on Canal+ Sport. In Polish not that it matters.
  20. Just spoke to a friend who was there tonight. The Poles were leaving and shaking their heads. He overheard quite a few saying the same thing. Why are Poles never good enough when it matters? A few were even burning their Polish scarves and said they were ashamed to be Poles. He overheard one saying he wanted to come to England because they produce more world champions than Poland.
  21. Why on earth didnt you Google cast it to your TV? I played it through my iPhone through Googlecast and crystal clear Hd on my Tv. Far better than a pc monitor. £30 from pc world. Thought the meeting got better and better. Briliant in the end though I was hoping Noddy would make the rostrum. Tai "for sure" Woffinden battled for the win. Thought the Poles let themselves down to be honest. One of them should have made the final. Whilst they have the biggest support they still seem to struggle to replace Gollob. Great crowd though not full. Biggest crowd though in the recent history of the sport. Good nights entertainment. And I bet it doesnt even get a mention on the bbc, even though a Brit won it.
