I guess any track is better than no track, but for me, Brandon is a proper stadium. the history, viewing areas, pit area, facilities are wonderful. going to be best track lost from the sport for me..

theres plenty of tracks with pits on 1/2 bend, even old belle vue!!

craig cook ended the season well, but just look at his Cardiff performance? he was in excellent positions in at least 3 rides, yet when it came to the push, he bottled it. theres points he just backed out of. im not denying his ability, im just saying, form is irellivent if you are going to back out on the big points

you couldn't buy the hunger lambert showed in the race off, id go for him after woffy and before ANY othr English rider

how could anyone leave lambert out? not really bothered by league form, hes proved in 2 appearances, hes a big meeting performer on the way UP

good way of watching it on you tube, easy to avoid results as tv and papers ignore it, just don't look on here!

I do think so, on only his second home performance, think the promise and potential was there. if you follow GP performers on there return to the series, you see what they"ve learnt, like Hampel and Woffy. both had poor 1st GPs..Once they returned, Hampel ended 2nd, Woffy won it, which is why lindback imo, could be ready on this return. Holub can certainly ride a bike, which is why I "think" he will up his performance...but like everyone, just a prediction..

its an amateur status sport in the current format. world cup, GP, formats work, but league racing doesn't.

not comparing, but just highlighting a fact, if people want to see an event, they will go to it WHAT EVER day it is on. and of course its a national event, but again, it should, entice more locals out, being a larger event

totally understand this point, but footy clubs still create big Monday night crowds where ever they play, and surely the Manchester area alone could boost a british final night?

top riders using Britain in march/april, because its convenient to them. nki is ok to start season at kings lynn, cos its convenient. theres no passion from these riders to dedicate themselves here, and british speedway still looking at all ways to accommodate these people. yes, I get fans want to see these riders, and if clubs want to change there historic race nights to accommodate them, go for it, but I personally think the biggest reason speedway has dipped is the sharing of riders. its pathetic riders have two clubs, and guest in another 6+ race jackets throughout a season..bank holiday fixtures going to be a mix n match day, with riders double booked!

don't see beyond poole myself.. they wont hesitate in strengthening if need be, and will always do whats needed..would like to think the bees could be in contention,probably sentimental reasons, as think Brandon is wonderful stadium and shame its going.

watching craig cook performance in last yrs Cardiff GP, is probably a good starting point, as to what can be improved on, and what advice by people in the know could give. As a spectator (and lets face it) its easy to knock someone as a spectator, but I thought cook let himself down, despite his points tally. he "appeared" weak in certain areas that night. He was on the pace, but backed out imo, when a couple of times, he should of been more aggressive. he appeared easy to be pushed aside in a couple of races
