mauger/ricko would have split opinion as well..until woffy gets 7 that is!! if the rounds were done fairly, im sure it would be great viewing away from the closed shop riders..its becoming so repetitive
-
in fairness, you can only beat whats put in front of you at the time.im one that prefer the one offs, but those who like the gp"s, its totally different from the introduction now. started with 6 rounds, which gave you healing time from an injury, today, you have 12 rounds, so you dont need getting injured at the wrong time. you also had years when you got eliminated after 2 poor rides, so its changed all the time, but as a traditional one off, easily my best option. turn up all level on the night, cant beat it imo

the 93 world final, am I correct in saying Ermolenko rode his luck in, I think, 3rd or 4th race of his, when the race was stopped on the 2nd bend when Ermolenkos chain was off, which meant he was under power at the time of the stoppage? also, didn't sam ermolenko win the blrc when Louis bike stopped on the last bend? all part of speedway of course
-
personally think sigalos was better, but he never achieved what ermolenko did
-
public relations in speedway really is awful. im sure theres good clubs out there that does well, but the lack of basic news feed on websites, and general promoting is diabolical in many places

instead of moaning on here, id suggest you let feelings known direct in the contact section.http://www.lakesidehammers.co/details/

not seen that one as yet.

personally didn't rate muller much, but in fairness, I didn't see much of him, but thanks to you tube, been watching a bit lately

Risk...acceptable Or Unacceptable?

think the riding style has changed big time. its far more aggressive in the gps especially, the way riders square off the corners. looking back at old world finals the riding style is totally different and they ..appear.. to shut off early into the bends -

it was nice turning up in another country where the world champion wasnt already crowned,i certainly wouldn't of made the journey under todays rules

I was at Ullevi when Jan o Pedersen took the title, not sure he was the pre match favourite, but like Havvy made some wonderful starts
-
last time I travelled to Leicester was the fours finals. that was very poor racing, but I did think the stadium itself was nice. if only they had the track right, it would be a nice venue
-
pardon? I think you mouthing off to every older person who has differing opinions to you, "sticking to the subject".. until you can stop your insults, or admitting when you down right lie, you can do one!

WATCH OUT SIDNEY, PENFOLD IS BACK, and his playing hes "old" card again, like you don't know any better
-
absolutely convinced the one offs would get rid of the "closed shop" boredom of the gps. the cut off was just as interesting as the winners of the qualifyers, each round starting equal, all riders in final itself starting level....golden days!!

nail on head!!!!

agree, its was better before the 80s, but think the end of the usa era, was noticeable, when the decline came about
-
think the strong list from the USA was the glamour time in speedway, when that disappeared, so did the crowds.
-
was there need for that? really?.. you see, I had seen many pics of the new stadium. id not seen they had a back straight stand.. i think you will find i accepted my error (which many on here would never do). your response was pointless after id already held my hands up, but feel free to continue your posts- to or about me- if that makes you feel happy from your keyboard.......

thank you, id not seen that
