Hope this reply from an old Hammers fan helps.
Aah!...all becomes clear Oh Wise One. I do remember seeing him ride but, shame on me, I can't remember anything about him.
You would think I'd remember the leathers though
And they had their share of those eh Norbold.
Not wishing to come across as sycophantic, but I would guess you know as much about Cyril's career as anyone still living.
As you say...a New Cross Great.
Now then, now then iris. do not besmirch the good name of west Ham.
It can't be true, can it?.
My ******* keyboard only picks up 1 capital letter in 2, so I miss some.
Would any true speedway fan stoop so low?. I would like to think no, but as has been said, there is a very limited market. Maybe, though not too likely, pangs of guilt will set in and the items will be returned.
EL/PL amalgamation and split in to North/South leagues with 12 teams in each sector.
It can't make sense financially for Plymouth to go to Berwick and vice versa.
I have never watched NL speedway so I can't comment on it's attractiveness, but I agree that Entertainment is the name of the game. If Kent are providing entertaining speedway at the moment a step up could be risky.
Yes...EL have better and faster riders but some of the EL meetings I have seen on tv have been far from entertaining.
Is not the logical progression if Kent want to move out of the NL a move to PL, assuming we don't get a PL/EL amalgamation which I feel the sport badly needs.
If the money is that tight why not scrap the SWC all together, or run it every 2 years to make the money go further. As long as all 16 riders in each meeting are fit to take all their rides, fine, but if not the meeting becomes a farce. With the meetings being televised all over Europe they can't afford a reserve?. It makes the whole project a laughing stock.
Shame there is no Grigorij...without him I feel Russia have handed the meeting to Poland.
