Exactly. If the format allows for a result at heat 10, just make all meetings 10 heats. Or why not just go all the way and have a 5 heat format and be done with it. Too many meetings are started with the intention of getting to heat 10. It happened at Coventry in the recent meeting vs Lakeside and how many people complained then? One, thats how many. Now coventry have been screwed over by it a load of Coventry fans are in uproar. Maybe they should have cared a little more 4 weeks ago?!

But why last season, Lakeside vs Poole, they get to heat 10 and Poole are set for all 4 points. Heat 11 and the Lakeside riders roll up to the tapes but the meeting is abandoned because the two Poole riders refuse to ride. Yet tonight, a heat earlier, and the two Coventry riders don't go to the tapes and what happens? The referee excludes the two Coventry riders. C'mon, what's the difference?

Let's get something right here, this is NOT Pooles fault. It's the piss poor rules and officials that are the issue here. The 10 heat rule is a load of rubbish and is killing the sport.

The track official said he'd look at after heat 9 but hasn't. And if this track is races me why have the two Poole boys trundled around?!

If this gets called off at heat 10 the sport may aswell close down.
