It an odd one, the TR vs TS debate. I know the TS is more unfair but I'd love them to get rid of the TR and bring back the TS. We can all become arm-chair managers and frankly, thats part of the fun, discussing do you use a TS in this one, who do you use, do you wait for another heat etc. It's an extra dimension to a meeting. Where as a TR, my 6 year old niece is capable of counting to 10 and then putting a black and white helmet on a rider!

It confuses me why clubs won't ride against a GP when 1 rider might be missing but will ride agaiabt GP and U21 qualifiers when 4 or 5 riders are often missing. Ride GP weeks, it's the best way of knowing in advance who will be missing! And as practice is not compulsory, any commited rider (see Chris Harris) will ride for his team anyway! The bigger farce is EL/PL clashes! Grajzonek in this case is unfortunate as he was a mid season signing.

Agree that critisizing PK is harsh. The guy signed in a 6.2 average so did well tonight! Freddie has been terrible at pretty much every away meeting this season.

When Coventry were there in the A fixture they kept on about the interval. It really seemed to excite the guy on the mic it was going to be after heat 10 and not heat 11 that night. He kept on and on about it. It was almost as if we were there FOR the interval.

Exactly that. The sports panders to the oldies. It plays old music, it's lets old people in for less, the presenters are meetings are generally in their 50s or 60s. Everything is about how things used to be done. The sport needs a kick up the arse to modernise itself - it doesn't need rules for that!
