This is a speedway problem, not a Leicester Speedway problem. Promoter seem to think we all want to hang around for 2.5 hours. 90-105 minutes is just fine.

My only issue is that on ITV Wales they're using that stupid advert they've been using on Sky talking about wining at Cardiff and getting a quote form all the people who have won there (apart from TRick) and what ti means. There not a single speedway bike in the advert, it's a terrible advert tbh.

But if you're not going to take advantage of being in Cardiff, you may as well drive home. I've bene to 100's of meetings over the years and not stayed overnight for any of them. I understand why people do it for Cardiff, the night out in Cardiff but if you're not going to be in Cardiff just go home. I could understand if we were talking someone who lived up north but the meeting will be over by 9, you could be back in the midlands by 12.

Quite simple. You find a hotel in Cardiff now, go for it. If you use hotel search sites you're being shown Bristol as the closest to Cardiff. That suggests that the hotels in Cardiff have under priced as they've sold out. If you sell out of something at the last minute you're priced perfectly. Anyway, my kitchen floor is available for £200 for the night, only a 10-15 minute walk to the stadium (30 minutes if you're a woman). I do expect you to cook breakfast the next day too.

Cardiff to Somerset is 1 hour 30 minutes. Then account for traffic that is hellish Bristol way on a bank holiday. I'd be leaving no later than 4 personally. I'd take Shadders advice. A trip to Weston and travel to the OTA a hour before the meeting. Leave 12ish, get to Weston for 1ish and stay there until 6-6.30.

As for parking, theres a few pay and displays but you would have to get their early-ish. edit > And how fecking lazy are people that the County Hall car park has to be park and ride, it's a 10-15 minute walk into the centre, probably take longer than that to wait for the bus and for it to then drive into the centre.

The guy is re-writing the rulebook. So he thinks he can have a guest, but there are none so he's going to have to use a NL rider but if there are no NL riders two other riders can replace him? No. He HAS to use a NL rider for a missing number 7, he has no other choice. No wonder the club is up rubbish creek.
