Better than knocking one out Pitiful GP. Should never have started on a soaking track that was only going to get worse. To aim to get to heat 16 is taking the piss. We could not have it tomorrow though could we? That would upset the Poles. And we keep being told GB can't have two GPs until we fill up Cardiff, how do Sweden have to GPs? The place was empty and it consistently a rubbish GP.

Exactly. I'll be buying cheep tickets and then going and sitting in the now empty seats 9-12 of row 11 in M6!
-
There doesnt appear to be any rule preventing EL riders riding in the NL, unlike in the past.
-
So Dennis Andersson should have a new average then. And all other assesed riders.

rubbish GP. Realised I don't like most of the riders in the GP. Not looking forward to the rest of the GPs. -
I notice on the BSPA site that Pawlicki will be given an average on the 1st of May but thats wrong. Shamek started the season on an assesed average, so fit into the criteria above. If the rules said that meetings last eyar counted too, then he'd have an average but the rules clearly state anyone on an assessed average only gets an average when he completes 4 home and 4 away and Shamek has NOT completed 4 home and 4 away.

Exactly. If Matej Ferjan, born in Slovenia, with a Hungarian passport is Slovenian according to JL then Jason Crump born in the UK with and Aussie passport but be British. Then Tai was thrown into the mix but he was born in Britain and has a British passport, so quite what he has to do with things I'm not sure :/

Tickets On The Day For Cardiff
SCB replied to james1234's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Ticket Line You'll see the queues coming out of the door. -
Tai was born in Britain so using John Leslies theory he's British.

Is Crumpy British?

I'd not argue with that in fairness. But the evidence so far is that Larsen is not a gating tart. His passing is not in the style of the Fish though, it's more riding his line and nipping by people rather than the Fish style of trying every inch of the track. If I had to pick 1 or the other it would be the Fish but we're lucky enough to not have to pick
-
He passed Nicki Pedersen last night I will admit in the morning I did think he was a tart and you were spot on but he sort of redemed himself slightly with his pass of naughty Nicki. He rode around at Coventry and we commented on him looking like a good NL rider before finding out who it was. Hardly looking good for Newcastle ATM.
-
His scores have had the look of gater about them but trust me, he isnt! He come from 4th in one race against Peerborough for a start. As I mentioned earlier, hes done quite a bit of passing for the Bees but sadly a reasonable amount of being passed too LOL - It does make any race with him in quite exciting Regarding Ferjan, he was always a high 5 to mid 6 point EL rider, suggesting 7 in the PL will be a walk in the park. But,if he does as he did in the EL and gate 50% of the time for a win or miss it complete 50% of the time for a last then he could end up averaging 6 even in the PL, I doubt it though. The suggest 9+ above though is unlikely, just because he will miss the start every 4 or 5 races and come last.
-
He spend half the race looking behind him. I've seen Kenni Larsen pass 5 times now, not bad in 13 EL races
-
The Poles will walk the World Cup this season. We can alays hope and pray for rain to even things up a little on the day.

I thought the Poles would not be having any wildcards this year due to the number of Poles already in the series? Plus you'd think as they have to ride on them dangerous silencers, none of them would want to ride anyway -
If young Austin Novratil is going to be riding against Dudley I may just pop along. I was immensely impressed with the lad last season.
-
Is that average number of points per GP or something? If so, isn't TRicks 16.68 higher?

Nathan Greaves & Robert Lambert
SCB replied to cometsfan2k4's topic in Youth Speedway and Development Leagues
Max Clegg? I saw Robert Lambert at Peterborough either last year or he year before now and was immensely impressed. He crashed but the way he went about it impressed me. He threw the bike into the bend, pick up and lost control, fought the bike got it back under control again but was by now in the dirt and unfortunatly exiting the bend he flipped off the back. From what I saw in his lap and a half in that race I was WOW'd. -
Surely if someone takes you to court and claims you burnt down their home and all the other claims, you can have them for slander? Or we'd all be taking our enemies to court when something we didnt like happed.
-
I must admit, when I read about the suggestion of him being ill, I thought he's always been a smaller person. I genuinely hope it's not true and if it is, it can be sorted ASAP.
-
Can we include junior teams? Newport have been Wasps, Dragons, Mavericks, Hornets and Warriors.
-
I accept 9+ may be a little beyond him but I'm confident he'll be in the 8's. If he starts finding himself in front a little more often he won't have to push so hard and be quite as wild so should fall off a little less often, right? :/ I remember seeing him a few years back riding around on his own at BV and at the time thinking, "he's good, he's got something about him" and I love all the comments I read about him last year regarding putting the fear of God into the opposition
-
At NL level? It's not really that odd. You tend to find you get the odd rider does it from time to time. Todd Kurtz got 9 from nowhere. A few years back Nicki Glanz went from 4 with Newport to best part of 9 with Plymouth. While I'd agree it close to impossible in the EL, not very little in the PL, every now and again someone at NL level does it.
