They make changes for music events at the stadium to effect the accoustics. -
The wardens of Cardiff are useless little Hitlers who give out tickets incorectly and have been doing so for years, I've receieved a few tickets in Cardiff and never paid a penny in fines as they've all been wrong.

Ben Barker Vip Experience
SCB replied to SpeedwayTShirts's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
It does. He has been a speedway rider, he has been World Champion, he has been a 10 point EL rider but these days he's a car sales man. I love Mark Loram as much as the next man but he is a "has been", a "has been" is not a bad term, Tony Rickardson "has been" 5 times World Champion, Michal Schumacher "has been" a 7 times World Champion and Lance Armstrong "has been" Tour De France winner 7 times. all great achievements, all greats in their sports but they're "has been" (that said, I hope in a few weeks time I'm not able to include Lance Armstrong in the "has been" list but even if he is, he'll still be an inspiration and hero to me). Better to be a "has been" than a never will be, never has been like 99.99999999% of the population when it comes to seasonal achievments. -

Out of curiosity, what is said, "ex-World Champion" doing now? -
Excellent stuff from the 2 Brits. Steady doing it the hard way too after looking a near certainty to go through with 1 ride remaining.

And did you know that until Hampel won a GP this season Golob was the only ever Polish GP winner? Yet Holta was Polish in all his races tonight, obviously he wasn't the day he won a GP in Sweden. And Millards knowledge of F1 is worse than his knowledge of speedway. -

A rider has just broken his arm and some people STILL find time to get in a Poole dig. Pathetic. -

Try ticket line. To find them, go to the Prince of Wales (and get Craig to buy you a drink), then go out to where we all meet on GP day and look towards the stadium, walk down that road, looking to the right and you'll see ticket line about 150 metres down the road. While you're in there, ask for a GP poster, they'll get you one from out the back,I have 7 seasons worth of posters from them somewhere. -
Line Up Wm-qualification Round 1 Fjelsted/dk 12.06.2010

Surely if he was cheating he should be banned form international speedway for a while (12 months?) If he has taken something out of the silencer then it's out and out cheating. -

How nice to see Brits winning 2 of the qualifiers, long may it continue! Fair play to Simon Stead, his may not have been the strongest of qualifiers but he's really stepped things up this season, in this Country at least, well done to him -
I guess clubs could do what Plymouth have said they going to do and refuse permission for their rider to ride in the PL, which will only stifle British talent. The NL is about training young riders, Buxton know that and have an excellent record for that. Personally I have a huge amount of respect what what Buxton Speedway have achieved in the last 10 or so seasons, they can rightly be proud of what they've achieved. Buxton are a credit to the NL, they never moan or complain, they just get on with things and find more young talent.

Danish Grand Prix 05/06
SCB replied to rocketrod's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Some pretty good racing and as the commentary team pointed out, 12 heats in and 10 different heat winners. Any GP where Bomber makes the podium and Nicki P is crap will make me happy Just a shame Hampel won, is he really World Champion material? I guess GP results in 2010 suggest so but IMO, many better riders have faile din the past. As things stand, I want Tomasz Gollob do to it this season -
Is This A Turning Point For Harris In The Gp's
SCB replied to Shocker's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I'd love it if Chris was to pick things up from now but sadly, I can't see it. I'll be the first to admit I was wrong if he does and I'll be one of the people shouting loudest for him at any GP's I attend this season, I just can't see him doing it with any regularity. Bomber, please prove me wrong. -

Totally agree, the riders were mving all night. I don't get this "Tony Steele" is great thing. He's a terrible referee as he seems to miss/ignore so much. -
