The rumour about the athletic track is absolute bollocks that's caught fire. It was a flippant comment on her I'm sure that started it. Next thing I know I'm at the speedway and somebody tells me They're turning it into a running track.

How would you possibly know that last night's performance was shocking if you weren't there? Glasgow rode out of their skin last night and it was a fantastic meeting. Newcastle would have made it closer had Kus been riding, but no way I'd describe their performance as shocking and I was there. If a footballer is penalised incorrectly for delibarate handball, does he walk off the pitch carrying the ball? Or does he get on with it and protest his innocence after the game. For too long the sport has indulged the likes of Middleditch, who decided Hancock was innocent and threw his toys out the pram IMMEDIATELY because the Ref had the temerity to apply the rules. What kind of attitude is that????? You have to stay firm at this point, because there is an attitude in a certain speedway clique that they can do what they like and the rules are just there for the plebs. Fair play to Hancock if he is genuinely innocent, but I choose to listen to Kelvin, another ex rider who's opinion I actually respect.

People having a go at Glasgow for the unfounded trying to buy a title. the Facennas and the people around them have not only invested heavily in cash but put an ENORMOUS amount of work into giving Glasgow speedway a wonderful stadium and facilities. They are there week in week out working their socks off and trying to make the sport work.

It's the usual Farrago having the season continuing until the end of October. Crazy. However, the cup final on Sunday and Monday is exciting and great to see our team doing so well at a difficult track.

Garcia has been out of sorts for weeks after a horror run of crashes. Knackered equipment and fitness doesn't look great. Sissis would be the obvious choice if a replacement is needed.

The kiddies race will be staying, and rightly so imo. The issue has been wasting time with tractors trundling round for twenty minutes, then having jungle balls and all sorts before we get back to the meeting. And trying to fit in too many intervals when already behind time.... and the tractor at one point bursting the air fence. + I thought it was the ref's that decided on the two minutes? At times at Glasgow for no reason there's a big gap before the next 2 minutes is announced. But it's still the premier speedway destination for me and over time everything gets ironed out.

Crazy if you are trying to rearrange your week. Hopefully get there in some form or other.
