  1. I noticed that.... Still, Worral did better. I've enjoyed this meeting though. Huge efort from Lakeside who can hold their heads high whatever.
  2. He's right off the pace... I'll admit not a great meeting but Belle Vue hopefully keep it close.
  3. Really, aye? Messy at times but that was a great heat.
  4. It's difficult to be neutral when you've got Starman's endless gibberish on here, but to be fair he winds up the reasonable Poole fans as well. However, it's an incredible line up of talent on both sides and I love watching these level of riders in the team format rather than GP etc. Racecards printed for both meetings and supplies stocked up. So good luck to all and most importantly no injuries LET'S MAKE SPEEDWAY!
  5. Think the Witches will win on the night, but not by quite enough. I'd imagine this will be a belter!
  6. I have everthing possible crossed for Swindon.
  7. Poole should win this, but no way a guarantee of going through. Without Linback I would probably take Wolves over the tie ... in fact I'm still taking Wolves. Masters at reserve should stop the score being too wide on Wed. 50-40 on Wednesday.
  8. Must admit this is how I feel about GI, I won't trust anything until I see it with my own eyes. Can guarantee it will take at least a couple of years if it ever does get built.
  9. You ain't a diehard fan ffs. You only want to go if it's the highest level. What do you want people to say? Old guys get fed up with their life and project that dissatisfaction onto Speedway.
  10. Certainly the EL is a mess in many ways, and I can see why you are cheesed off. The fact is if you only want to see the best available you aren't a speedway fan as such, so I can understand you walking away. I know a lot of speedway fans who have gone NL, PL, whatever is around to watch speedway over the years - even when it was really low level teams riding in a dump. However for most people there's a shelf life and maybe yours is up. I do agree the EL is a shambles, and I'm filled with dread that they are able to impose some of their nonsense on the PL at the AGM.
  11. Don't believe tatuM would tolerate any chicanery regardless of his admiration of fords set up. I take my hat off to fords promotion but can't stick his carry on.
  12. Kelvin would be a good independent chairperson, of that I've no doubt. If he relinquished his role with Lakeside then why wouldn't that work. I'm certain he could handle the likes of Ford.
  13. Nope. Nothing wrong with the track at all, Worky just didn't look interested other than Vissing. Highlight being his two fingered salutes to the Glasgow fans which showed he was still interested. A meeting that we were bound to win, but Worky seemed to have decided the tie was over before it started.
  14. I never brought it up - I get fed up with people referring to Glasgow spending on riders wages as it's completely made up (and probably a load of rubbish). I have no idea about any clubs wage bill. Anyway, seems to be a bit of a low key build up to this meeting. It's a semi final and I'm looking forward to it. mon eh tigers
  15. I'm hoping for an all Tigers final, a rumble in the jungle if you like. If it's anywhere near as entertaining as last weeks meeting I'll be happy.
  16. A nightmare start has hampered the season, but the track looks great. See probably the best racing of the season in the EL and the World cup.
