While I agree with the comments about Poole's lacklustre performance, I still don't think Belle Vue are quite up there (yet) so I reckon it'll be close - particularly Poole should clean up at reserve and I think Holder and Buz will do well on the Aces track..... somehow I think this is going to be HUUUUGE. Very tempted to drive down for it if I'm honest, will wait and see the weather.

Very hard to call atm. I still have Poole as favourites in my head, mainly because BV only need a couple of underperformers on the night, and reserves wise Poole are the strongest team no doubt. To an outsider looking in the EL playoffs are an exciting proposition - and I'm still taking Poole. Poole BV Wolves / Swindon

Was a very exciting meeting watching on TV, A few terrific heats. Poole on an off night still look very dangerous. Would have been a different story had they taken 5 in 12.

JEEEZ the EL playoffs are set to be exciting this year - Wish the whole Wolves meeting had been on sky as well. What I've seen it was rocking.

I think the playoffs are good because they add excitement, but also a sport which attempts to equalise teams by the average limit is better served by a system that doesn't just reward the nrwly assembled teams that can perform best off the bat. Would Edinburgh have signed Bewley had there been no playoffs, or would they have been more inclined to be conservative and get a solid performer with no great room for improvement.

I won't stop believing we can win the title. There's everything to play for atm and a very important cup tie on Friday which needs to be approached with plenty respect given edinburgh have a no7 who is scoring for fun at every track he rides. ROLL ON FRIDAY

Take both #7s out and it's an easy win for us. So a lot to be positive about but worrying we have two riders that have stalled a bit just before the crunch part of the season.
