  1. I'm guessing Poole are keeping a place for him (don't know for how long?) but riding for Poole seems to be his fall back position, whilst looking for better options/deals,agree his signing would complete the team nicely
  2. Wouldn't have thought zac cook was planning on riding championship next yr but now perhaps just waiting on the belle Vue situation, his first choice in the UK
  3. Re Eastbourne i don't know, but isn't the situation just a simple no bob no speedway?
  4. Re Eastbourne i don't know, but isn't the situation just a simple no bob no speedway?
  5. thats surely one reason that makes fri nights good for speedway?
  6. I also don't know if it fits but definitely would be a top team
  7. In some ways it will be a shame if he's not riding for pirates next season, but I think more importantly it's good that a promoter is holding firm on what he's prepared to pay.
  8. Poole look to be assembling a good team again for next season in what is, looking ahead a very good competitive league(would be great to have Leicester and Lynn added to the mix)
  9. The premier league clubs seem to be proving conclusively they're not capable of running anything, clueless.
  10. None of my business, but is selling up a good financial decision? If he finds a buyer how much money is he going to pocket? Forgetting his commendable ambitions and principles why not run a team at championship level and make a profit every season aka Poole speedway,he loves the sport and would be making money ,what's wrong with that?
  11. does louis play poker?? is this a bluff?? which raises the question is he a good poker player??
  12. So why didn't he have a higher average riding for Poole,he is what he is and maybe he's at his level,to be fair he was much much better than what pretty much everybody thought he would be when Matt announced his signing
  13. Most people i know have TNT for moto gp, wsb,and bsb.
  14. If a prospective purchaser wanted to run championship but was told they couldn't surely they'd simply pull out?
  15. Would a potential speedway promoter be allowed on to the site at Peterborough??
  16. Slightly pains me to admit how slow I've been to finally realise that TTT is the greatest wind-up merchant on the forum to keep this post going so actively is amazing, driving a losing argument for days is outstanding, well done.It also pains me to admit you've outgunned our own wind-up champion Mr shovvy
  17. Because steve(or should it be Stephanie, you never know these days)how would the ex prem teams sign whoever they want and leave the championship teams "chasing shadows"there are championship teams who have better promoters and sponsors than most prem clubs, maybe some of the prem clubs would end up chasing the shadows
  18. Excellent post Mike,(will be ordering bsb tickets next wk for 2026) BSB is a fantastic model of how to run a motorbike championship, with no "superstars "the very top riders will race in this country once a year in a wsb or motogp round, but the crowds at every bsb are fantastic, pay £47 for 3day weekend ticket
  19. TTT this and almost all your other posts assume that prem Clubs have some cards to play, they really don't, they're almost in a beggers can't be choosers position. If belle vue/ipswich owners/promoters decide they'd rather sell then so be it
  20. Agree lisa definitely bigger crowds in the ward/holder era
  21. Would have walked if he could have found a buyer pitgate
  22. Blue you did spend most of the season criticising kerr and starke, saying they shouldn't have been signed, even wanting rid, glad you've been won around and appreciate the riders
  23. If I was glasgow owner I would have splashed the cash and got some engines specially prepared for Poole, might have helped the reserves, and gating in general!!
  24. Only have to look at the top motorcycle racers in the world in moto gp,moto 2 and 3,all ultra fit and very lean, think someone posted on here hans neilson advice to any young rider wanting to go faster "lose 5lbs"
