  1. Really sad to hear the Comets are struggling again. https://cumbriacrack.com/2026/07/31/future-of-workington-comets-hangs-in-balance/
  2. You need another 'safe & effective' injection. The temperatures that keep getting 'smashed' where do they take them from? Still using runways & non-existent weather stations? Just remember the same people pushing the climate 'crisis' & Net Zero BS are the same ones pushing the proxy money laundering Ukraine war & also the very same ones who pushed the CONvid narrative. Only about a month ago they were pushing the rat p1ss virus
  3. Weren’t West Ham 'gifted' this stadium on the understating it would/could be used for other events?
  4. https://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/sport/sportlatest/25798766.fans-upset-odsal-may-not-host-stock-car-racing-year/?fbclid=IwY2xjawPlz8FleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETBmQ2pZNGRtMEh4eng4cmNac3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHgEB1L90evVerLc6__3E67FcocdxydC1gte9f2W9bCcEyIrpA5cjf4wV2Xps_aem_fsn0R95MUsJD6HB89cwaCw
  5. Former MP & Speedway fan Nick Brown could also help
  6. Like old Harry, Sir Phil has kept his 'love' of Speedway very quiet over the years? He was the MP for Shipley so wonder he ever visited Odsal? I seem to remember that a certain Nick Brown MP was the chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Motorcycle Speedway, was Sir Phil a member? Oh, I wonder what happened to Nick Brown former MP?
  7. Just make sure everyone round you is fully booooosted, they've taken a test to 'prove' they've not got the 'deadly virurs, you all wear a face nappy when you stand up or walk around & of course only go around the room in one direction. Stay 'safe'
  8. Setting aside the debate about the track can we all not agree that it's great to see that a certain Poole fan is now fully recovered from their latest bout of the 'deadly' virus?
  9. NO, it's a 'deadly' virus - one so 'deadly' it only has a survival rate of OVER 99.8% & you have to take a test to 'prove' you have it. Then when the test is + (which of course it always is as the tests used are flawed) to defeat the 'deadly' virus you stay home for a few days - just like you did in the good old days when the flu was about.. If only SS had taken the 25th 'safe & effective' boooooster injection & worn a face nappy 24/7.
  10. Well according to LIEbour's own internal report the ending of the Winter Fuel allowance will kill off around 4000 of 'em. Then again it's cheaper than the Tory option of using Midazolam. As for incredibly rich generation?
  11. Oh dear that really is sad news. A real character & promoter. RIP Len
  12. A good home is required for a collection of Halifax/Bradford programmes from the mid 80s to 1997 & there's also so a few from other tracks from the 60s, 70s. Speedway Stars, Mail (paper & mag) plus the short lived 5-1. If anyone has room for them, then please get in touch as it would be a shome for them to end up in a skip.
  13. A little off topic - caught the end of a programme called Shed and Buried(?) this evening with that bloke Henry Cole. He purchased an old Lewis Bridger Jawa, got it going & flogged it to a bloke from Hagon Shocks.
  14. Quite a few in the footballing world came back to clubs https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/03/02/10-players-who-have-returned-to-football-after-time-in-prison/
  15. https://cumbriacrack.com/2023/12/29/in-pictures-australian-speedway-centenary-welcomes-workington-comets-connection/
  16. Think you'll find that the Aussie Govt are like the UK's WEFpuppet Govt & many others (Canada, New Zealand, & of course those in the EU) - all in lockstep with each other.. An 80yr old bloke (son of a Nazi) has written a book about what they want to do, it's called The Great Reset (aka New World Order) give it a read.
  17. Given the teams as they are now 1 Belle Vue 2 Sheffield 3 Ipswich 4 Peterborough 5 Leicester 6 King's Lynn 7 Wolverhampton
  18. I think the Govt & NHS call us 'bed-blockers'? You can see why Hancock got 2 years supply of Midazolam just before the start of the 'pandemic'
  19. Think I've heard this before https://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/22316192.odsal-biggest-stadium-permanent-roof-country-new-plans/
  20. Yes it was packed. Canny Eric Boothroyd held a meeting at the Shay later that day. It was packed. Happy Days
  21. Just caught a news item on local radio saying that a former Bradford junior (didn't catch his name) is trying to get Speedway up and running. Looking for £200k to start with - get the lottery tickets bought.
  22. Yes that was quite a team - 1983? - Gundersen, Wigg, King with Alan Grahame and Phil Collins as 2nd strings. Think a young Simon Cross got a few meetings too?
