Was Scotty racing at Birmingham last week to rule him out of that match? Probably could use Scott next Thursday but would need to be at number 1 for Jason (if he is still out).

Sure when I've been at Berwick, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Redcar they have had 2 ambulances (possibly not every meeting as not there every meeting). After the Birmingham v Berwick meeting a couple of seasons ago, I'm sure Birmingham said about having double medical cover also.

Emil would have had 8 races during the SON (from 23 races instead of 16 though). Sure you had 6 races during the meeting, the last chance semi final and the final ( unless he was substituted for the U21 rider).

Did they really complain. Did they not run guests all last season after their number 1 did a couple of races and was then injured for the season? They also have a facility that enables them to get a guest scoring double figures for their number 1 who hasn't raced for them this season. Seems strange that a team would then complain about others.

Looking at the fixtures in the Berwick program last night. If Berwick don't progress in the cups then that will be half their home fixtures completed Raced 6 with 6 still to race.

Should super heats be included in the BSN cup? Since you are looking for a best runner up surely there shouldn't be extra points awarded to some groups when a superheat is required. Luckily Scunthorpe have secured the best runner up spot but they shouldn't be in a position where another group has more points awarded than their group.

I would expect it to be just as close as last night also. The way Dan is going this season he should be an upgrade on Jonas.

Never thought of it that way. Lose Jason from heat 11 but gain him in heat 14. Would then have Emil or Jason in every heat from 10-14 and then the pair in 15.

Maybe to try and counter Sam Masters at 3? Could be 10 Jason 11 Jason and Emil 12 Jason 13 Emil 15 Jason and Emil with no ts used.

Why not just let the race run then without a warning. Berwick were away so it probably cost Berwick 2 points (would have expected Josh to catch Freddie). If he was warned for heat 5 like he should have been (he moved before Drew) then at least pulling heat 11 back he would be off a 15m handicap.

I questioned the decision myself and the supporters near me said it was probably to do with where he was (interfered with where the flag marshal should be). Could put people in danger so always err on the side of caution. I see on the Berwick report he was fined by the referee but not sure if his broken chain was locking up his back wheel and he was trying to release it? On another point it was good to see less gardening at the gate with the clock (could see it took less time than other seasons for the riders to be ready). Speaking to a supporter in the stand after the meeting he said there was always time on the clock when the race started so probably 10-15 minutes saved there. Only complaint from me was the back straight stand lights not working so moved to the exit of the second bend. Does anyone know how far back the starting gate been moved?

Are you there assisting with the work as you stay close by? A mate who had been at the football did say that part of the fence was down. Good to see modifications being made by the promotion. Probably not just Berwick would like crowds like that.

I agree about facilities being allowed but the floodgates opened last year when Charles Wright and Connor Bailey were allowed a facility (at least he has been signed at the start of the season).

Think he got 4 points according to speedway updates. Meeting not completed yet.

Not his points scoring that's a problem for me (although that's important), it's how he tries, even when last racing for Sheffield and Belle Vue but gives up when racing for Berwick.
