Was Like Harrison out for 28 days? Didn't think Workington waited 28 days to reintroduce Luke. When does the 28 days start (is it the first match or when the declaration is made).

If Berwick finished top of that list, they would make the playoffs. Need positive results against these teams and pick up anything against the other 5. Was at Redcar and should have went to Edinburgh like you instead.

Would he not come back to Edinburgh on the average they released him on? Was told a few years ago by someone that if the rider was dropped another team could sign him on his new average but the team releasing him had to sign him on the average he was replaced on (unless his average had went up).

Josh hit the fence a couple of times in heat 2 so probable reason for his withdrawal. Kelsey Dugard didn't hit the fence or anything and didn't have 3 rides. Unless I'm mistaken, it was said Dugard had reinjured himself (shoulder I think). Should the problem about having 3 rides not be directed in that area (obviously not injured in the meeting). It was a probationary ref so should be up on the rules you would think (referee on centre green according to Dick during the parade).

Would Jonas's brother and another 5 pointer fit instead of a HL? Might be a different option.

Agree with your points made and hopefully all injured riders are ok. First time seeing the Bullets and would say they are missing Halder at reserve and Archie in the team (could they have named Kieran Douglas as number 8 or is his average to high to be a number 8)? One thing I would add is why did Sam never get excluded at the starts? He was moving in all his races and actually touched the tapes in two races. There was a camera behind me and to my right (wonder if facing onto the start line). Would be interesting if it was recording. Referee was not at his best last night (giving wrong results, not giving extra time when riders had two on the spin etc, etc).

No wonder speedway is struggling. Was at Redcar when Leon fell before the meeting (chat was there was no facility for him as he didn't crash in the meeting). Word is other teams get a facility for a rider not having raced this year and not in the country (and it can be extended).

How long is Archie going to be out for? If Berwick are a couple of points below the limit and he is going to be out for a while, I wonder if there is anyone to strengthen the team with. See Mason still hasn't scored a point yet this season so R/R not much use.

Was my first meeting of the season (not the best of starts). When speaking to someone at the interval I was asked to look at the riders 1 on 1 (Jorgensen and Lawson etc) and give an edge to a certain rider. Once we had went through the 7 riders he said I hesitated on 2 so call them equal. He said you favour 4 Redcar riders and 1 Berwick rider with 2 equal so it would take riders being on form and other riders being off form to win.

Will Berwick have Danny Phillips at number 8 (asking as you seem to be in the know). Possibly safer with the reserves needing 11 rides between them.

As you say like for like. Berwick should rest Jye this weekend and put his like for like replacement in.

Could they not have run it as a national trophy format (therefore all teams would get 3 extra fixtures whereas at least one team will only get one extra fixture). Workington could possibly invite Edinburgh and Berwick over for a 3 team tournament to add to their fixtures if the wanted?

Does it not depend on how teams are constructed? I wouldn't say riding at 3 with Vissing at 4 makes it easier to score points. I would take racing with the reserves in three races and having the harder heat 13 (should beat the reserves most meetings whereas Vissing could beat Basso once or twice a meeting.

Taking league matches from last season (on speedway website) and including bonus points. Douglas 9.52 Nick Morris 9.52 Richard Lawson 9.23 Richie Worrall 8.99 Steve Worrall 8.86. I would guess that Douglas in in the same league as these riders this year.

Good to see Workington back with a good team. Most if not all have raced for Berwick academy or the Bullets.

Just seen Mason Watson signed. Hopefully another season of progress for him. Didn't realise he was bullets rider of the year this year.

Due to work commitments I cannot make every meeting. This season when my son went it was £22 for us both. Next season due to him having just turned 16 it will now be £40. Will make it difficult for families to attend with no student or concession prices.

Good for Edinburgh if Josh is coming back. Sure Sam was in the top 5 average riders in the premiership last season. For there to be gaps between the leagues should riders who rank this high be racing in the lower league?
