Heat 11 was a disgrace (with Pickering). If you are not going to get excluded for that then there is not much hope of anyone being excluded for delaying the start. That being said ,there are a few riders in the Berwick team that need to take a hard look at themselves.

Just going off what has been said before about 2 missing second strings. Should be the same rules all the time no matter the circumstances so it's easier for people to follow (speedway will probably be my fourth choice sport) whose main sport isn't speedway.

Did someone not say he had a new engine the last time he guested for Berwick (did worse than his other engine). How come Edinburgh get 2 guests for their second strings (thought it was one guest and r/r)? No wonder speedway loses more fans than it gains with constant rule changes that us fans cannot keep up with. Hopefully make the meeting after missing the last 3 at Berwick.

Glad I was at St Andrews today. Seen Berwick getting beat last night at Glasgow and that was bad enough. Hopefully everyone back fit next week against Edinburgh

Summers in 12 and 14? If Scotty tried to jump the start in heat 7, why was he not of 15 m in heat 15 when it was called back.

I take it that when he doesn't get a ride (like v Berwick) as a number 8 then it doesn't count as a meeting?

Rules don't make any sense. Berwick who are bottom of the league couldn't swap a rider (4.3 ish) for someone else (5) without making a double change whereas Redcar and Scunthorpe etc who are higher in the table can replace riders with someone else with a higher average. The Berwick team average at the start of the season would be 38.25 swapping out the replaced riders. Think that would make it 3.75 points below the limit.

Wonder who the reserve is we had? Seems good. Could he not have had one of Masons rides also?

Was a good period that. Think we should have won at Peterborough at the end of the previous season (won at Ipswich and Edinburgh so would have been like 4 away wins in a row). Berwick Bullets won at Armadale earlier in the season of that counts.

Only scored one point against a Poole rider (beat Ablitt) All others were from beating a team mate. Truly awful and feel for the other 4 riders.

So a team like Berwick at the bottom of the league cannot strengthen up (straight one for one swap) but other teams higher in the league can strengthen up. Shows why it's not taken to seriously by lots of people.

Read the bit about Birmingham in the speedway star this week and I would assume Newcastle etc would be in a similar situation. Did someone not mention £000's a week earlier. With regards the air fence most promoters run meetings to part pay for them so I would assume they would have known where they come from. Did the previous promotion charge Rob for the fence and not say where it came from. If this is the case I would be looking to blame the previous owners. I agree with most other points the fans are making though (I was one of them that put money towards the crowdfunding page) especially the heat sponsor who hasn't been contacted. Hopefully we see Newcastle back next season along with various other teams.

Is Jake Mulford racing in the same meeting? See he races for the colts and is missing tonight (according to Berwick website). Hope for his r/r rides they only get 75% of his average. If you add the 2 premiership guest bookings in arnieg then that would be 12 guest bookings.

Not sure on the ruling about no-ones 1-7 etc. Don't think it said BSPL. Just what was being said on the Berwick website about Cook being out and Starke being in.

Not now racing. The rulebook seems to be a complete shambles (dispensation last week against the Bullets and a rule for a championship that doesn't exist this week).

Devastating news from Newcastle. On the point about meetings. What happened last year when Redcar had Eastbourne at home but didn't have to go to Eastbourne? Would expect the same thing to happen this year (if they had to pay something last year I would expect them to get something back this year).

There should be a cut off point of let's say 4 matches. There is Jenkins and the Thomson twins as well. As you say the rules should be applied the same to every team (no problem with them riding if Leon was allowed to race for the Bullets last year). Palin couldn't race last year also.

Maybe wasn't going to be this year but teams meet in KOC as well so maybe added?

How do they stream? Is there the bandwidth to stream BSN and Edinburgh?

Wonder how long Jye will be out for? Could Danny possibly help Berwick in the short term as could score at home. You would save that with the kids admission. My kids not interested in speedway though. I was parked a good distance away due to the shows. That would have added time onto people getting in also (people entering later than they had planned). Was 2 open when I went through. Wonder if another was opened?

Make the riders show the SCB etc they have been for tests/checkups etc if you are doubting the injury? Wonder if Berwick put Leon down for r/r at Newcastle knowing he was going to get hurt the night before? Possibly Berwick had a guest in for Jye knowing he was going to get hurt 3 days prior to the Plymouth meeting (and Belle Vue has r/r for him in their declared lineup for Monday past).

Thanks for the info. Maybe having a trainee in charge and putting the red lights on when the riders are in the 3rd/4th bend with Lee Complin (after being taken out in a first bend incident) in the first bend fence isn't the best (was 2nd time I looked at the refs box). Wonder if any of the races will be posted on social media like the last few weeks?

Berwick rode well considering they lost Jye in heat 1. Well done to Redcar. Wonder if Charles could have been excluded for causing the accident in heat 1? Lee seemed mad after getting pushed very wide by Adam on the first and second bend and had steamed passed when Adam fell. Who was the referee as the listed referee was standing in the back of the box and not in control of the buttons? When I go to the football I usually get a trained referee and not a trainee doing a professional game.

Whilst I agree with you that it's not good for speedway, this thing seems to happen every season. Take last season, Peterborough won the league using guests and r/r for most of the season. Since it's easy to get riders why did Peterborough not bother having a full 1-7 (oh yes they were stronger without signing another rider).
