  1. Hopefully Edinburgh get Poole (Berwick have Poole/Oxford in the KOC so would prefer a different team). Must have changed the rules again as Poole and Oxford met in the semi final last year in the BSN trophy.
  2. Workington and Berwick are in different groups so haven't met in the BSN trophy. They met in the KOC and Workington would have still been eliminated even if Craig wasn't excluded. We will just forget the fact Berwick number 1 was wiped out in heat 1 meaning they also raced at Edinburgh without a number 1.
  3. Workington have 5 points so even if they had scored 0 points each, Glasgow would be out with 4 points.
  4. Edinburgh might win at Glasgow tomorrow and still get through. If Dan had been at Berwick, Edinburgh would still have needed something at Glasgow as they wouldn't have won tonight (possibly got the bonus point). Both teams severely hampered by missing number ones (Berwick missed Peter last night also).
  5. Bartosz has 20 championship points on the FIM website. Bewley has 18, Lambert 16 and Kurtz has 3. Thought the meeting was taking place tonight?
  6. What I was saying was that various teams couldn't use an assessed average rider until he had a proper average. That went from 2 pointers through to 8 pointers in the top league. I think it's good for young riders to get as much track time as possible so don't see the problem.
  7. Have the rules been changed? Remember people on about Berwick using Cairns last year and then others said they couldn't because he was on an assessed average.
  8. See Dan didn't get a race again today (according to updates). Surely must be annoying going and not racing.
  9. Would it not just be a reduced facility anyway (even if tonights meeting was on). Edinburgh said they looked at ways to get Dan to Poland but couldn't get him there on time (is that not the same problem Plymouth had last season and they had a reduced facility for Klindt).
  10. Is it Scotland v Haiti on the same day as Berwick v Glasgow?
  11. Didn't see that coming especially with people saying this season that Edinburgh riders wouldn't guest at Berwick as they didn't like the track (except Grahn).
  12. Everyone has their own list and ranking order. For me, I couldn't put someone with a higher overall, home and away average below someone else.
  13. Nick Morris Cooper Rushden Sam hagon (if reserve) Tate Zischke Jordy Loftus.
  14. Was this rule known before the end of the season? Berwick went out and won 2 meetings against Workington where it might have been better for next season to not do so (have Peter or Jonas scoring a lot less points keeping his average under 8 so they would have the option of keeping both). Sure before the 2 Workington meetings Berwick had 3 riders over 8 point average but noone was above 8.2.
  15. Speedway is full of inconsistent referees etc. Max fricke went inside Leon and only went off his line by a few yards and got excluded. Chris Harris went inside Richard lawson and hit Lawson's bike after he had crashed and Lawson got excluded. At Edinburgh Nick Morris got excluded when Edinburgh showed the referee an ultra slow motion replay but a week or so later that wasn't available when Luke Harrison was excluded.
  16. Would Ipswich not think about keeping Edwards if he still qualifies? He is just under 4.00 average?

  18. That is fine because it makes the team playing away from home try and score so you get a better game of football instead of just defending all game. Speedway is a different sport. Let's take your points score of 9 from your last post. Basically you are saying a 3 and a 1 is better than two 2's as the heat win will be ranked higher. Why is a 3 and a 1 better than two 2's but two 4-2 are better than a 5-1 and a 3-3 (surely by your logic the 5-1 should be ranked higher).
  19. Would also cost the club more as there will be bonus points with the 5-1 scenario whereas there wouldn't with 4-2's. We have a final that should have taken place in June (at the latest), contested by a team that got through because there were more points awarded in their group than the other groups and a team going through because they had 2 x 4-2's and another team had a 5-1 and a 3-3. Better not tell my fellow work colleagues that in the morning.
  20. Having a 3 team tournament would have been the fairest way (the way the Jubilee trophy was done a few years ago).
  21. Is Fraser Bowes meeting off today? Think it possibly said something last night on the sportwar_____ (part of updates site) about Tarnow meeting being off and rearranged for next week.
  22. That's not what I'm on about. It would possibly be last season or the off season that I would be looking for. Without looking back in the threads (might do at some point) that seems to be you replying to other Berwick fans (not me) for being critical of all things Berwick. With you getting called out in the first 2 or 3 meetings (by various Berwick posters), you haven't posted as much on Berwick threads.
  23. Workington stopped racing at Derwent Park many years ago. For the last few years since Newcastle have unfortunately closed, you have said you get your speedway fix at Redcar and Workington. You said that about going to Redcar and Workington, not me (we have heard it plenty of times on Berwick threads). Seems to me you were therefore making it up about going to Workington to make Berwick look bad.
