Odds on shot that we announce the outgoing Leicester rider as the New No.1 imo. Think Laguta only fits for Fricke or Harris.

I was trying to remain positive rather than ripping the guy to shreds before the season started in the hope that he'd prove the consensus wrong, I wanted to give the guy a chance to prove me wrong but obviously he hasn't and it turns out he is just as bad as the majority said he was which has left me no choice but to side with those who called it spot on before the season. And for the record I only have this account even if you don't want to believe that.........If you're another one of these members who allow the Basso troll to live rent free in your head then maybe you should contact the moderators and ask them for some information in regards to how many accounts are linked to the same IP address and then ask the moderators to tell you what are the names of those accounts, That way your mind can be put at rest and I guarantee you won't find my account on that list....Happy to have a big money bet with you on that and then you can PayPal me the money once you lose. I use to spend days on here trying to prove to other members that I wasn't the forum troll but barely anyone believed me........Now I just feel sorry for those who still actually think it's me because all it does is prove how mentally weak the accusers are for allowing the troll to live rent free in their heads to a point where they get so worked up on a daily basis and end up throwing around the same accusation........Even Mick Bratley got accused today which just goes to prove my point.

Pretty sure the Worrall fan club are just trying to wind us up now tbh and I certainly won't be biting anymore. They can't actually believe the stuff they're posting in Worrall's defence because they would be contradicting themselves considering how they're criticising MPT and Klindt on another thread for putting in Richie Worrall type of performances every week, Funny enough they want both MPT and Klindt sacked for it. Trying to single out Basso for his performances when he doesn't even have 2 years of experience in the top league is laughable considering Richie Worrall has 10 years worth of top league experience dating all the way back to his Elite League days with the Lakeside Hammers.

Premiership Pairs 2023 - Wolverhampton 15th May
TTT replied to InTheDeepStuff's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Poland call the shots, Protected race nights don't mean anything in this country as the riders will do whatever Poland tells them to do. British Speedway on it's final years while Poland pays the big money. -
Depends on how much Buster is willing to spend and who gets released by Leicester, Our season can easily be turned around it's just a case of whether the management want to turn our campaign around. Fricke 8.27 Andersen 5.19 Tungate 6.61 Basso 6.61 NKI 6.97 C. Cook 4.92 Jenkins (RS) = 38.57 or Harris 7.64 Andersen 5.19 NKI 6.97 Basso 6.61 Zagar 7.20 C. Cook 4.92 Jenkins (RS) = 38.53

If Richie was good / worth his average then why didn't KL retain him? Could easily have signed Richie instead of Mr. I cba half of the time KK.
-
Hans has been good this season apart from his usual shocker at the NSS. Where's Worrall has been crap every week apart from the visit to Beaumont Park where he's a track specialist, Take out the Leicester trip then Richie has only scored 15+1 from 13 rides.
-
We have to be realistic. Play-offs are gone now and we're not beating Ipswich in the cup because Emil, Doyle and King will put up 70+ points between them over the two legs considering the state our 1-7 is in. Our season is now all about making sure we stop the losing streak by beating KL at least once because I can't see us beating anyone else with our 1-7. Sign whoever Leicester release as our No.1 because it's the best we're going to get unfortunately even if does turn out be Harris (Just can't see Buster splashing out big cash now for an Ekstraliga rider) Sign Rohan Tungate for Richie Worrall who will put in Heat Leader shifts at Home which will then take the pressure off Ben Basso. Sign the here and now journey man Craig Cook as a replacement for Ben Cook who'll get us 8+ a meeting at reserve almost every week because theirs no point in continuing with the Ben Cook deal considering Ben is a rider who'll come good in the future, A future that the club doesn't have.
-
I thought Ben would've been doing a lot better but it turns out Rob Lyon was on the money from Day 1 in regards to second season syndrome.
-
I agree that we've got a lot of underperformers, I'm just saying that Basso needs to be partnered with a strong No.3 who can a couple of races per meeting. With Richie 3 of his 4 wins came at Leicester where he's a track specialist other than that his scores aren't up to scratch for a No.3 which is no surprise considering he's a No.2/No.6 that's being asked to ride at No.3. Need someone to do a job like Danny King at No.3 in order to take the pressure off Basso.
-
Good question, Like most other decisions made over the winter, It just doesn't make any sense to me.
-
As for Basso it's no surprise to see him struggling now after everything that's gone on from Nicki's walkout all the way down to being asked to partner Richie Worrall in the engine room. Richie can't win races consistently at this level, He even struggles to get 2nd places most weeks so expecting Basso to become a solid HL in his second Premiership season is just to much pressure for the young dane.
-
I agree that other riders aren't performing to expectations. It's just with Ben Cook all we're doing is developing a rider for a club like Sheffield (Example) to reap all of the rewards in the future whilst we don't get anything out of the deal at all other than 3/4 point returns most weeks due to the rider not having enough experience on Prem tracks. It just doesn't make any sense to me when you could have someone like Craig Cook who'd consistently get at least 7+ points from reserve every week that'll actually benefit our club this year. I'd have a different stance on Ben Cook if we were coming to tapes in 2024 with Ben Cook in our 1-7 because then we'd get to reap the rewards going forward that would benefit our club from 2024 onwards.
-
Which would be a plus, I'm at the point now where we simply have to do everything possible to try and win at least one meeting. Going out losing every single meeting this season with no chance to put things right is the worst exit imaginable. That's why I'm fully with you on the Ben Cook take, Play-offs are gone already and it's all about stopping the losing streak now and for me we'd have a better chance at stopping the losing streak with Hans Andersen at No.6 rather than Ben Cook knowing that we can give Hans 7 rides at Home as well as technical tracks.
-
I'd actually make those Panthers changes as well. Klindt is better than R/R or Guest considering the guest is always a No.4 anyway. I don't see the point in doing other clubs a favour by developing Ben Cook for them because we're not going to reap any rewards from the situation considering we won't even exist by this time next year.
-
That's exactly what I'm thinking if it's Fricke who's going to get released (KL - Fricke, Toft, Jakobsen, TJ, Picko, C. Cook & Edwards = 38.98 Fits like a treat) If Harris gets released then he'll certainly be our No.1 because he's already back riding for us anyway and he's not doing a very good job so the signing won't make a difference to our side.
-
True. Would Buster want to sign Fricke up for King's Lynn instead of Peterborough is another question. I wouldn't put it past the bloke to make a double change at KL that would see Klindt and one other at Peterborough tbh.
-
I would gladly have Fricke at No.1 as he'll be better than what we've currently got. Wasn't great last year, Don't know what he was around our place before the cancelled 2020 season.
-
Hans is a small track rider these days and it shows, He'll be a very shrewd signing for a technical track club next year.
-
You just know Harris will get confirmed as our No.1 at the same time as well. Clown show is only just getting started imo.
-
No, Could end the season now and I wouldn't care. I just want Leicester to sign Laguta so we can say I told you so in regards to Busters actions, All this talk about nobody being available and yet Leicester are going to snap up a superstar even though we've had a 1 month head start.
-
Bomber having a mare at No.1 could be our second 0 point return from a No.1 coming up. Still the results don't matter to Buster so why should us fans care.

I'm just guessing with Lawson. Whoever gets released from Leicester will end up at Peterborough imo. -

It's called a Buster problem, Hardly a coincidence that we've both got crap teams that can't compete at this level. -
