Same here.
They're strong title contenders imo.
Out and out No.1, No weak link in the engine room, Strong No.6 all season etc. They tick all the boxes.
I agree.
Just think it's a possibility when you take into account that Brum are now being linked with new riders like Milik and Chugunov and they're engine room riders so it reeks of desperation.
I'm working on the basis that Piotr Pawlicki and Matej Zagar are no go's as well now because they would've been signed weeks ago if they was in, I can't imagine them waiting around for weeks knowing that they're playing second fiddle to other riders because it gives out a poor message like 'We'll only have you if we cant get anyone better in'.
Piotr Pawlicki would be a good signing but surely a deal would've been done by now if Piotr was in the 1-7 considering he made it known that he wanted to ride in the UK ages ago?
I can't imagine that's it's Brum not willing to pull the trigger because he's one of the best options by far.
Simon Lambert after Buster throws his mid-season tantrum about finances/low crowds once the results turn sour.
For what it's worth if the team does stay the same then Basso will end up at No.6 imo.
Still saying Schlein plus another.
Brum would've been complete by now if they managed to get 2 quality riders in.
They've signed 5 riders on a budget and are hoping to get two HL's in however the names being linked with Brum now are of much lesser quality than they were at the start.
Bet Brum will end up with one HL and Schlein due to the names in question all wanting good money.
HL signings would've been made by now if money wasn't an issue imo.
Looking at who's available unless you can get overseas HL's then I'd go way under the limit and sign Rowe/Gilkes.
They're two riders who will improve in a watered down Championship whilst unannounced HL's leftover from 2023 like Riss, Batch, Sedgmen and Vissing have no improvement left imo.
Really exciting side being put together, If Cookie gets his mojo back and the final two signings are good then the Comets will be the dark horses in 2024.
All three assessed riders should improve GSA's.
By the process of elimination I think Vissing, Rowe and Gilkes are the final three and they fit perfectly.
Borke & Hodder -> Berwick
Sedgmen/Riss + Castagna & Fredriksen -> Edinburgh (Rumours Riss isn't doing the Championship so likely Sedgmen)
MPT & Mountain -> Scunthorpe
No, I'm just speaking the truth.
Watching Championship clubs celebrate titles at Poole last year was painful enough for you guys, Now Poole fans are trying to convince themselves that a pish poor signing in Thomsen is a good move.
Pirate ship is sinking and they cant take it after being spoilt rotten for many years.
Best for them no to run other clubs signings / teams down if they cant take it when somebody repays the compliment.
