Buster booking Simon Lambert for Monday in place of Josh Pickering.
-
Danny King's in form and he would give us a better points return than R/R will and that would result in Buster having to splash out an extra few hundred quid. He's only going to book his KL flops to guest for us imo because he knows in advance that they'll give us a crap points return which won't cost him too much money. I fully agree. Exactly, No reason why BV should have to lose a few thousand pounds tomorrow night all because Buster straight up refuses to sign a replacement and put out a 7 man team. Should be forced into covering 25% of BV's wage bill minimum to cover up the managements loss of income on the night.
-
If Batch has gone back to Aus then Craig Cook is another rider who's available.
-
Read the Zagar £100 payment excuse a few times now. Here's a simple solution just to avoid the dreaded R/R almost every week due to other teams also competing on the same night. Sign Troy Batchelor at a much cheaper cost............At least we'd have a 7 man team every week.
-
Not for much longer imo. Crowds should drop considerably after the 8th May (Fans will turn up just to see Doyle and Emil) After the 8th May we'll be out of the Cup as well as having an W0 D0 L6 record in the league.
-
I'm beginning to think you're related to Buster tbh because it's actually ridiculous how you keep making up excuses in defence of the guy now.
-
I won't be attending again either, I'm just grateful I didn't buy a season ticket in the end, Feel for those who did though and every single one of them should be entitled to a full refund imo. Season ticket holders should confront Buster to his face at the next Home meeting imo and demand answers because he's taking the mickey out of every one of them.
-
The other 5 Premiership clubs not owned by Buster should contact lawyers and see if it's possible to put in a claim about suing Buster Chapman. I'm not even joking either because the Home teams will end up losing thousands of pounds on the two nights when Peterborough visit them with a white flag line-up. No reason why the Home clubs should be financially punished imo.
-
Same here. Can lose 75 - 15 and I still wouldn't care.
-
Would be surprised if anyone other than BV season ticket holders turned up with this meeting also being streamed on BSN.
-
R/R on Monday again folks.

Belle Vue ‘ATPI’ Aces: Dan Bewley 8.95, Norick Blodorn 5.33, Tom Brennan 5.74, Charles Wright 6.55, Brady Kurtz (C) 8.22, Jaimon Lidsey 5.16, Jake Mulford (RS); TM: Mark Lemon Peterborough ‘Crendon’ Panthers: Nicki Pedersen R/R 8.61, Hans Andersen 4.93, Richie Worrall 6.15, Benjamin Basso 6.81, Niels-Kristian Iversen 7.17, Ben Cook 4.06, Jordan Jenkins (RS); TM: Rob Lyon. R/R for Panthers again due to a number of fixtures taking place, Attendance could take a hit considering it's a one side meeting where BV should put up 60+.

Nothing fickle about it, GP star on a 8+ average scoring 5 or 6 points at Home is called not doing your job. Speedway isn't a long campaign so decisions have to be made early considering theirs only 1 play-off spot up for grabs if we're being realistic (BV, Sheff & Ips in no doubt) Watch Poland they even take out riders after two rides if they start poorly, Happened to both Matej Zagar and Scott Nicholls this week. Depends what type of budget Leicester are on when it comes to finding a replacement, Chris Holder could be worth a shout. Chris Holder is worth a shout but it depends what type of budget you're on. Hopefully you don't sign a replacement and Max keeps underperforming because Panthers might be able to get the Bonus Point off you providing we can get a half decent guest in on the night.
-
Lucky escape for me then
-
Have to pay it though because we don't have another option. A decent guest is never guaranteed with the fixed race night situation, MPT scoring a blank on Monday should be enough encouragement to get back on the phone to Zagar imo.
-
SCOTT NICHOLLS Over 9 @ 10/11 anyone? Has started the season in red hot form. Scott's scores in all competitions / leagues this season. 3, 3, 3, 2* = 11+1 1, 2, 1, 1 = 5 3, 2, 3, 3, F = 11 3, 3, 3, 3, 3 = 15 3, 3, 2*, 3 = 11+1 3, 2, 2, 3, 3 = 13 2, 3, 3, 3, w = 11

I'm blaming Buster for the results and team building. Take out the Chris Holder winter drama, For arguments sake let's just say fair enough he doesn't want to sign him because he doesn't like him.....But what's the excuse for not signing Matej Zagar last week when we're desperate? 2023 is just a case deja vu with an owner who simply doesn't want to sign a replacement because he's given up even though we should have £91,000 minimum to spend on a replacement because that's what the club would've paid out for Nicki P over the season if the 3.5k a night quote is correct. It's easy to point the finger at Tomalin because he's the newbie by saying he's a big mouth and it's down to him for making promises he can't keep, But that argument is floored imo because the on track downfall watching our 5/6 man teams consisting of R/R and guests lose every meeting started last year before Tomalin even took on the co promoter role. The only thing that Tomalin can be blamed for at this moment time is the rebranding of the club purely because it makes no sense to make that change if the club has no long term future.
-
I think Buster gave up last year tbh, He was making changes at KL by signing Klindt and Jakobsen but at Peterborough we got lumbered with guests and R/R throughout the entire season whilst watching us take a battering every week. From a fan perspective I just can't imagine any other Speedway owner sitting back watching his club lose at Home on a regular basis and not do anything about it, Only someone who doesn't care anymore would sit back and do nothing imo. As for Mick he's a solid guy for sure and he's got the best interests of the club at heart.
-
How did Leicester manage to throw this one away. Maybe it's time to replace Max Fricke and Jake Allen.
-
Agree, The club is worth fighting for if it's under a Tomalin ownership. Buster is just taking the mickey out of everyone as far as I'm concerned and he's not shown any fight for the club in regards to the team and the results for the last 12 months, Didn't bother making a team change last season when we we're getting slapped up left, right and centre and he hasn't bothered to sign a Nicki replacement this year even though he's had the opportunity to do so and instead he's opted to use KL engine room riders as the Peterborough No.1 as a way to save money. Literally no point in anyone fighting a big uphill task if the end result see's Buster Chapman remain as the owner with a team that loses meetings at Home after 4 Heats of Speedway. We need to hear from Michael Tomalin to get a clear picture as to what his intentions are going forward. It's only KL fans hating on MT out of loyalty for Buster. Buster has been a big part of KL for years so it's understandable that KL fans will take his side. I agree no businessman would by a business that doesn't have a guaranteed future.

Won't be us after liking Twitter posts taking the mickey out of the Nicki P situation.
-
Nothing really standing out again tonight. I would've sat tonight out but I've got a free bet token that needs to be used on something so I'm going to use it on a Double (IPSWICH and LEICESTER to win) Not that confident but the away teams are both missing their No.5 tonight so I'll side with the Home teams.
-
Haven't been impressed with Leicester so far, Justin Sedgmen has been going very well and if it wasn't for him then Leicester would've lost both meetings this season. They've surely got to click at some stage though because it's a team that should go well around BP. As for the result it all depends on how Jaimon Lidsey takes to the track imo.
