Ipswich v Peterborough KOC semi final Thursday 11th May
TTT replied to tocha's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think you're in the right ball park tbh and could even be bang on with your tally, Ipswich should be putting up low 50's tonight minimum. This tally's to 38 points as well. Jakobsen 5 Andersen 7 Basso 5 Worrall 6 NKI 8 Cook 3 JJ 4 -

Are you Shovlar in disguise? Doyle and Emil unbeaten then add in King's dozen from 5 rides and you're already at 40. Hume will be the highest scoring reserve on show if Ben Cook's performance around Monmore is anything to go by (Didn't like the technical track) Rew has been getting better so he should be good for 5 or 6. -
Bet 1 - IPSWICH -10 @ 4/5 (No way are Peterborough putting up 40+ tonight imo, Rew, Hume and JT will only need to get 10 between them for this bet to land imo because the Ipswich HL trio should put up 40+) Bet 2 - NKI Under 11 @ 4/7 (Has to ride against Emil and Doyle twice each, Maybe even 3 times so that's a lot of dropped points to begin with before we even talk about points potentially dropped to Danny King) Bet 3 - BASSO +3 vs. Rew @ 21/20 (I know Basso has been poor, But Rew is a poor gater so he's always liable to drop points, Basso may only need to score 4 or 5 points for this bet to land imo because I can't see Rew scoring 9+)

Just knew it was going to be a KL rider at 1 Buster was always going to go down that route otherwise his KL riders would've had a wasted flight into the UK, Was expecting the guest to be Klindt but it's Jakobsen instead. -

It's a Cup tie. -
Agree, He's just being stubborn and selfish at this point. Stubborn for failing to admit that it's time to call it a day. Selfish for dragging his own clubs into the mud.

Going to be equivalent of last night's Milan Derby if this goes ahead. Can see Ipswich hitting 60+ tonight. -
Going through some tests this week. May not even see the season out for them.

Another rule in the rulebook that no longer exists then. Remember Wolves vs. Leicester getting postponed in the morning and then P'boro and Sheffield booked Leicester riders to guest later that day. -

Klindt is good around Ipswich though. Not anymore going by how we booked Harris at BV with Sheffield booking Lawson at KL after a Leicester postponement a couple of weeks back. -

That's the logical route. I'm thinking Klindt though purely because he would've had a wasted flight into the country for the call off so it's easy for Buster to give Nicolai a pay day for his other club. -

What are the chances of Klindt guesting for us tonight. -
Same and shouldn't be for anyone. I'll never understand any fan who's happy to splash out £20+ a night just to watch the opposition go 5-1, 4-2, 5-1, 4-2 throughout most of the evening.

May as well give Ipswich a 75 - 0 walkover and save the hassle of having to rearrange the fixture if the forecast is accurate. Let's face it, It's not like Buster Chapman is going to put out a competitive team if this fixture was to be restaged anyway so we may as well forfeit the tie now. -
Exactly. Promoters have been running a clown show for years and now it's finally started to catch up with them.

I'll stick to the British league

Agree, Rulebook doesn't apply to us lol and we've been granted the Plymouth 2022 treatment. Just need to book Fricke and Masters when possible. -
Don't have a good record when it comes to Poland (I'm a specialist in British racing ) but due to a lack of Footy fixtures today, I'm going to place two bets. BET 1 - KAI HUCKENBECK OVER 9 @ 23/20 (The stats don't add up with this bet, Kai's scores in the Polish league this season are the following 12, 11+1, 13 and 10+2, Strong opposition today could result in Landshut having to use a tac sub and Huckenbeck will be their go to rider imo) BET 2 - NORBERT KRAKOWIAK 0 vs. Matej Zagar @ 19/20 (Matej hasn't been good apart from the meeting at Bydgoszcz, Imo Matej was always going to go well around Bydgoszcz so I'm turning a blind eye to that performance, Maybe a stupid move, Maybe a smart move, We'll have to wait and see lol but I'll side with Krakowiak seeing as I've got some reservations about Matej still)

Agree, Bad calls made all round.

Nicki P quit after two rides again in Poland tonight. Why on earth did the guy sign for us when he's nowhere near fit enough?
