Scunthorpe v Poole 10/4/26 KO Cup second leg
Manifesto replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Sheffield fan who went to see a closely fought meeting and wasn’t disappointed was a great meeting to watch will be making the trip to scunny often as I can. agree with the post above saying Rushen and Cairns will win Poole the league both look smooth on the bike and you can only hope they will have massive futures in the sport. Picko managing to control the bike down the back straight on one wheel in heat 13 and still be chasing Zach Cook down for 2nd place was my highlight. only thing I have to mention is the speaker system was a joke sounded like announcer was in the car park needs addressing -
Bewley 8.64 Flint 5.05 Musielak 6.63 Morris 5.89 Pickering 7.76 Etheridge 3.00 Edwards 36.97

Great showing from Sheffield. Last few races Bewley dug in deep but the result was done and dusted. A sign of things to come from BV away or was Sheffield just too strong? Etheridge will be a real trump card at reserve what an absolute steal on a 3.00 average

Belle Vue v Sheffield KOC March 30th 7.30pm

Kye Thomson guests for injured Blodorn and Chris Harris comes in for Brady Kurtz (illness). Dan Bewley will have to go unbeaten if BV wana keep it less than 6 I think now. 53-37 home win -

Is there a video of heat 1 crash involving Blodorn and Holder? Seen conflicting views some say it was dirty riding others saying not. -

Can’t make it across to this one so will follow the updates. Two good looking teams. Think whichever 1 and 5 can score the most will win their team the meeting. Going 48-42 home win -
Managed to go down to the P&P yesterday never seen them have so much track time all trying different things with starts and setups. there should be no excuses regarding setups again BV next Thursday. all the riders looking smooth as per and hoping young Killeen can find his feet at prem level with plenty of Aussies in the pits.

When weathers warmer I will be visiting Scunthorpe regularly to see Picko ride, along with other Sheffield riders. Great racing guaranteed and I always enjoy watching the national league riders coming through

Should be announced this weekend

Good looking Leicester side. They will miss Fricke in the heat 13’s and 15’s but I do think Douglas and Masters are solid enough to give them a good home record

That’s the team we all wanted. Fair play to Bates for sorting it we all owe him a big thanks another year of speedway at Sheffield is good news and that team is as good as any. Jack, Chris and Picko will be a great trio of headleaders again im hoping Chris can lift his form back to 2024 standard. Leon and Anders in the main body of the team will have to find another gear again mainly away from home. Jye and Killeen for me are good signings at this level and will stay at reserve. Killeen hopefully with the right people around him will find his feet in the premiership
-
No he’s not quite on the level of Kurtz, Holder, Bewley Fricke but he isn’t far behind. He’s an exciting rider to watch and anyone prem team would have him
-
Welcome Luke. he’s never pulled up any big scores at Owlerton but neither had Leon Flint before last year, hopefully with backing of some Aussie teammates and Steady he can find another gear or two and put some scores in.
-
Can’t see it been anything different to this. I’d prefer Tobi on his average over Chris but don’t think we can afford Jack, Picko and him in same team
-
A better looking KL team. In last years league it still wouldn’t be fancied to win the league but with a weaker league you’d have to say it’s a solid lineup. if Kvech can get up to a 8 point average they will be hard to beat at home

Welcome back Anders. Great signing and one I expected to see

Writings been on the wall the management have dropped hints all year. I love this club and this sport and I think it would leave a huge hole in speedway in Sheffield no longer had a team
