I think them scores won’t be too far off it. Harris rides Owlerton as well as the Holders if the track is grippy expect more than 5, but think the reserves will get less than 8 between them. Prediction 52-38 Holders to grab a 4-2 in 15 to bring the house down

The “bend 2 barmy army” only been going couple years most sheff fans find them embarrassing. Bend 3 and 4 fans at owlerton great atmosphere and no hostility at all towards away fans, I was talking with the Ipswich lot last week all good banter

What’s with the slagging of owlerton again the NSS is a great racetrack but if the opposition come to owlerton and have a go the racing is good standard. Harris rides our track well I suspect he’ll stay at number 5 and ride better than first leg. Picko and Chris is the key partnership they need heat advantages whenever they ride together. Lidsey and Cook not been convincing at all so far this season when visiting Sheffield. prediction, Sheff to win superheat 🤩

Very unlucky Ipswich nobody gave them a chance and to be fair deserved to go through. King and Kvech falls cost them and a couple of terrible decisions from the ref yet again she needs sacking. Don’t think Sheffield or BV would celebrate like Leicester just have game face should still be on. Think both would beat Leicester over 2 legs

They certainly don’t like them he probably fancies his teams chances better against Leicester

Potentially could be a classic semi final also could be a disgrace if riders are missing for Poland. prediction Sheffield to go through by 8 points overall

Do the play offs count towards green sheet averages?

Would love to see Rowe at Sheffield in place of Howarth who desperately needs to go ride another track for a year (Leicester or Birmingham would suit him)

We have also missed Tai, he was our best rider away from home all season. Pickering has now hit his top form and I would have fancied us against Ipswich with Doyle and Emil over 2 legs with him in the team. All hindsight though we had the same last year losing Tai and Toby just before the play offs

Did feel like a bit of hollow victory, Jack and Picko unreal very fast tonight would have loved to see Sayfutdinov have a go with them both. The effort was there from all Ipswich riders but getting race wins was just so hard to come by. Fighting for second and third place against our reserves and an absolute woeful Kyle Howarth was best they could do. We’d have to ride pretty awful to lose by 20+ on Thursday just want to see some good racing more than anything and see Ipswich fight for some pride because they deserve to end their season with fight.

Ellis and Brennan will be hard to beat if they gate but would expect Jack and Chris to only drop a couple of points if the track is good

Hope we can fit him in for the 2025 plans he was probably our most consistent rider before his injury

Lidsey and Brennan have had some good meetings at Owlerton and also some stinkers could be the key riders. Horrible to be relying on that many guests but I’m guessing Ipswich fans just want to see it close. Ellis 15 point max incoming? lol 52-38

Great effort from Jack once more. Howarth and reserves cost us in the end as most would have predicted. Hope they step it up for the play offs!
