  1. This is the first realistic comment I’ve seen and deffo makes a lot of sense… this could work.
  2. Yes I know it was last week, if that’s the popular opinion then the BSPL should have no option but to move the play offs IMO. A sport that is a comedy show continues to become one when you don’t even finish your official fixtures. That’s why Poland laughs at us, and why we have no large number of fans… it’s nowhere near a professional run sport.
  3. Oh sorry I thought last night was in September 🤦🏼 I must have got confused. The whole point is that you move everything forward so you have some slack weeks at the end of August for any rain offs.
  4. Now but have the official fixtures sown up by August would be an idea.
  5. Why did you post this as a quote to me? It shows nothing about what I said for 2nd and 3rd place?
  6. If Ipswich win and Leicester lose then who finishes second without this match happening? One point in the balance and Sheffield are solid at home so could easily win this meeting that keeps getting postponed. If that scenario does happen, then the table will be chosen and not competed for on track.
  7. That’s what you get when you get the ‘business end’ of the season in September, I’m sure many play offs matches will also be affected! One day they will learn!
  8. I’d be more happy if Sheffield rode that night this was called off. Like they did against us in the final when it suited them.
  9. I’ve heard from someone at the club, although it is not 100% yet confirmed… but if Stal are relegated to the M.2 the more likely option is that they will declare the club bankrupt (due to last season) and drop to the 3rd tier of the league system, krajowa liga żużlowa, this will give the club a blank canvas to start again.
  10. After the match the Stal fans approached the team who took a microphone to speak to the fans who stayed. Vaculik took to the microphone but didn’t say anything productive and the fans replied with the following statement: We are losing two matches and now we have four matches for life. Look how many people came to the stadium today. And you, idiot, you are doing rubbish. How much do you idiot, earn, and what do you drive! - the yellow-blue fan did not dismise the words. - If, God forbid, we fall, you will run away like rats from a sinking ship - he continued to the team, which costs several million zlotys (its leaders even earn more than three million per season). Lebedevs took the microphone off Vaculik and responded: I wanted to end this season today. Not in this style. I wanted to enjoy the win in two matches. And to end this season and this slogan… “We save steel". But unfortunately... We have to get to work. Believe me, we give our whole heart on this track to make you happy and for this league to be with you. We have this hole, f*cked, but we can handle it
  11. Rybnik vs Stal - 5th Sept Stal vs Rybnik - 21st Sept M.2 Team vs Ekstraliga Team 28th Sept Ekstraliga Team vs M.2 Team 5th Oct
  12. Watched the match on the beach last night. Poor start touching the tapes and it set the tone for the night. Underwhelming performance to say the least. Juniors doing a better job than GP stars and a lacklustre, uninterested captain who already signed a contract elsewhere which shows his commitment. Gorzow in serious trouble of dropping down as Rybnik could turn them over at this rate and the M.2 teams will both be in Stella form for a shootout. If anything it shows my thoughts on the state of the GP, we have 3 GP stars in Steel who are woeful in the top league of speedway yet are in the SGP, it’s deffo not the best of the best.
  13. I’d tend to disagree, many Polish matches are dry and they don’t water the track half as much as GPs. I’ve watched multiple matches live in Poland this season and they are always dusty.
  14. Unless you live in a cave the ideas are just in the sky, nothing that actually makes sense with different clubs running on nights others wouldn’t and stock cars taking presidence in other stadiums and not enough riders when you leave GP riders to make teams full where you would need an additional rider to make your ‘squad’ as people don’t want guests so if you get injured you would need to bring in another ‘squad’ member.
  15. What can be tried ? Nobody else has the answers but sounds like you do… let us know please!
  16. Also remember Kurtz coped with all the pressure PLUS running over half his heats with a warning, one slip and he would have been done.
  17. If you are referring to Holder I’d say Zmarzlik rode more into him and Holder held his line. Bad decision from a 5 time WC to go gate four. I was happy holder held his line and didn’t just let him do what he wants, more people need to race hard and not bow down.
  18. Good work! It’s what life is all about, enjoying moments and having fun! I would be over for the GP and Gorzow this weekend but Sunday going South of France, bad timing! I’ll be watching Gorzow closely and praying! If you haven’t got tickets sit as close to the exit of bend two on the back straight for the best experience, it’s where the riders come out and warm up too and the teams sit. I heard that this is the biggest crowd Stal have had all season, so far around 10,000 tickets sold.
  19. Thursday the 11th would be the second leg of the 1st vs 4th play off. Ipswich would be in it.
  20. I don’t think the stadium re-opens until 18:00 local time normally on Grand Prix 19:00 starts.
  21. Glad you got to experience such a great atmosphere!! Poland is the best to be for speedway that’s for sure, league matches for me are a better atmosphere than SGP as that’s more of a party carnival celebration. You need to go the lubuskiej derby 💙💛 that tops anything you’ll ever experience !
  22. All Thursdays missed (no meetings) so far this season: Thursday 17th April Thursday 1st May Thursday 8th May Thursday 29th May Thursday 10th July Thursday 17th July Thursday 31st July Thursday 7th August
  23. The latest from the Stal club referencing the 2026 line up is below: J.Holder A.Thomsen A.Lebedevs O.Fajfer P.Przedpełski J. Krawczyk A. Bednar O.Paluch
