Kings Lynn will win this evening even if Kerr only scores 4 and I'd suggest he'll score better than you have predicted. He's almost guaranteed to win heat 2!

Guessing rock / paper / scissors rather than a coin toss for gate positions? -
Birmingham v Sheffield Mon 4th August PL2

The Tigers of Sheffield would like to thank Birmingham Speedway for two pathetic performances at Perry Barr which made our journey down the M1 worthwhile.... but mostly for lowering the average of Tobias Musielak, he's looking primed for a Owlerton return in 2026. -

It was poor how Lemon managed the R/R situation... heat 3, 2-10 down and he puts in the hapless Zishcke who'd just been 5-1'd rather than Bewley. The track obviously wasn't what the Aces riders wee expecting so why not put the rider who knows the track best out early to try to figure it out? Aces could have used Bewley again to replace Lidsey as a TS anyway they were never getting a heat advantage in heat 4 with one of the reserves out. -

Sheffield could find a second wind after their rejig. We'll see. Aces have been too weak at reserve all season. It's likely to be Witches v Lions final, is Becker likely to be fit? Becker's average is way above Masters' so R/R works But who are the candidates from Brummies, Spires & Stars who can guest? Considering Lions went with guest rather than R/R for KO Cup they may do the same in the playoffs. -

Congratulations to the Witches on their first league win at the NSS. Aces down to 4 riders because the reserves are simply not good enough and haven't been all season. -

Desperate move... Etheridge is averaging less for Workington than Voulas & Zishcke, Morris hasn't had a competitive ride for 2 years and was on the downward slope when he was suspended. It will make Tigers weaker I'm fairly confident of, but at least they're trying ..

Are you a troll? I forget. Iversen must be averaging more than any other Star to be at #1. Yet he could (I think) be the only one of the riders that turn up (not Cook) that hasn't spent any time this season at reserve? Musielak disappears, Cook disappears... what does the Norfolk air do to these generally committed riders? Congratulations Lions, it'll be 52+ for you at Beaumont Park easily.

I'm not convinced Aces will win this... Witches bottom end will out score Mulford & Zishcke easily. Brennan, King & Ellis are likely to get the better of Blodorn too. No fumbles allowed from Cook or Lidsey either. Ipswich have gone off the boil considering their dominant early season form. And Gavan is wrong... there are lots of passes on the inside at the NSS. -
Birmingham v Belle Vue Mon 28th July PL2

Bizarre meeting really, is there a hosepipe ban in Birmingham? Track terribly dusty, no sign of watering. Thought Aces were in average reduction mode first four hears, optimised by Lidsey gong first to fourth in heat 3. The top 3 then stepped up to support Blodorn who was trapping excellently. As the track got dustier the outside line disappeared and it was follow the leader after heat 11 summed up by Musielak being unable to land a blow on Zishcke in heat 11 then winning heats 13 & 15 with Bewley going backwards in both trying to find some grip on the outside. -

Sorry, probably too late but free parking on the numerous tyre/MOT forecourts on the Walsall Rd (A34) opposite the McDonald's Good for prompt escape to M6. You'll get stuck at the Scott Arms junction (undoubtedly) and the M6 junction 7 is a weird one, to go north on the M6 you leave the roundabout on the inside (you'll pretty much have to go completely round it once). -

I would hope if either were interested in riding in the UK Oxford or Birmingham would have picked them up already. -

Not if you use Fricke in heat 3. In theory it gets the team.off to a strong start. If Fricke has a stinker in heat 1 you could put Howarth in who'd have already been out once or give Masters an outing prior to his first programmed ride. -

If Leicester can continue to use Fricke for one R/R it's better than having Becker back I believe. Though I'd move Howarth to #2 and put R/R at 3, 4 or 5 so Fricke doesn't have to be used in heat 8. -

Was it? Looked almost empty along the back straight, whenever I've been to Beaumont Park there have been a fair few people there. Sheffield I'd imagine are the second closest visitors (after Birmingham) but with it being televised and dodgy weather I can understand people staying away. -
Musielak heat 7 win was instantly forgettable. He disappeared as Tungate struggled to pass Castagna despite being handed the outside line on turns 3&4. Rew 9+2 is double figures from 5 rides.... 9 is not two digits. That's how many points he scored for the team. 3 points are absolutely assured because Jeppeson is not finishing in front of anyone at PB.
