  1. I think Luke Bowen went to that van wearing BSN top so guess he's working for them tonight.
  2. The queue (or lack of) at La Bona Pasta would indicate a dreadful crowd. They have certainly hiked prices over the winter.
  3. Ipswich fans were saying that Zack Cook was much better at Foxhall than his brother who he replaced for the Aces at the time.

  5. In Poland? He's on a bit of a hiding to nothing in that awful Częstochowa team! He did OK is Leszno, haven't watch the Lublin meeting on a stream but it's against arguably the strongest 1-7 in the league and it would have been his home debut.
  6. BELLE VUE: Brady Kurtz, Norick Blodorn, Peter Kildemand, Zach Cook, Dan Bewley, Tate Zischke, Will Cairns. IPSWICH: Tom Brennan, Danny King, Richard Lawson, Scott Nicholls, Tobiasz Musielak, Philip Hellstrom-Bangs, Jason Edwards.
  7. I think Brennan will nick a point off one of them, but then he'll also drop a point to Cook. The wildcards in it all are Kildemand & Hellström Bängs. To hit 35 Witches need King to have a good night. Musielak won't trouble Bewley or Kurtz, should be good between him and the Aces engine room. Nicholls & Lawson might beat Cairns.
  8. Ryan Douglas take a bow, single handedly made Bydgoszcz v Poznan interesting.

  10. Managed to watch about 5 heats of Gorzow v Wroclaw. Dreadful. I assume Czestochowa humiliation in Lublin isn't worth watching?
  11. What WWE? No one expected Leicester to win at Owlerton on Thursday. Did you think it predetermined that Bewley would chase Douglas for 3.7 laps in heat 15 on Easter Monday before passing him. Bewley certainly looked overjoyed, Douglas looked gutted. Don't think that was our on.
  12. Have only seen results but Częstochowa are an embarrassment to the league. Wroclaw reserves will cost them the title. Kowalski! being meeting winner where Laguta, Kurtz & Bewley failed is surprising. Enterprising use of Pollestad will see Gorzów battle 5th spot with Leszno. Paluch injured?
  13. Kurtz & Blödorn are set to return but with Kurtz, Bewley, Cook, Blödorn, Brennan & Musielak all likely to be in action on the continent over the weekend and a fair compliment of Championship fixtures at the weekend we have to hope all come through unscathed. Assuming they do I would think Belle Vue will win quite comfortably (52-38) while Hellström Bängs showed a liking for the NSS at the SoN (as Sweden's last man riding) but it's been a few years (2021?). Nicholls & Lawson rarely score well at NSS, Musielak had improved on his last visit with Sheffield but don't remember him doing much for Brummies last season. Imagine it will be down to Brennan for Ipswich to take a point off the World #2 & #3. A little rain is forecast at the moment but should be fine.
  14. He was culpable of doing that an awful lot in the second tier with Birmingham, he'd only ever move to the quicker wide line if he was chasing someone. When in front he pretty much stuck to the inside, very frustrating. I was only going to say what szkocjasid posted. Kvech only an Ekstraliga rider because he filled the U24 berth.
  15. It will be interesting to see how this one pans out.
  16. Cook's away average will be 0 0 0 3 or 1 1 1 3 depending on which Kildemand turns up.
  17. Would Aces have won with Kurtz & Blodorn.. who knows. Guessing we hope Lions get aggregate win over Tigers. Strength in depth teams can prevail but isn't great having a Bewley. Hope he was as entertaining tonight as he was at midday. Jeppeson is an untidy uncompromising sort, but he's much more useful than I gave him credit for.

  20. Decent meeting, Leicester about what I'd expect not knowing what Morris would do apart from Masters & Kemp who were disappointing. Masters passed by both Cook & Kildemand in one heat for not moving off the inside. Almost felt sorry for Douglas he was damned whatever he did in the final bend Bewley was coming through be it inside (as proved) or outside. Bewley wasn't gating, not sure he'd have got past Masters in his opening ride if Cairns hadn't hit the front which made Masters try to do something. Kildemeand's first two gates were utterly woeful but he looked good towards the end. Personally I thought Howarth was unlucky to be excluded but haven't had the benefit unlike those who have watched the stream, Zischke certainly enjoyed getting the better of him in heat 14. For the record I think Kemp completed 4 laps in each of his rides! Jeppesen obviously far more suited to NSS than Perry Barr.
  21. Why wait for the riders to start warming up the engines before playing the team manager interviews?
  22. Difficult to predict this meeting as I have no idea how Jeppesen will do. He was appalling at Perry Barr when I saw him but others have said it was just Perry Barr where he struggled. Also can't remember how Morris fares at NSS if indeed I have ever seen him here before. Can't imagine Bewley being troubled but Kemp could be a trump card. 47-43 without any conviction. Masters & Douglas always did better for Wolves on midday BHM's than they did on regular 7:30 starts.
