What agreed deal? "“He was in our plans but was then offered a deal elsewhere" "Rathbone revealed a number of deals have been done in principle"
-
As you'll need a mug shot Rodders (holding a numbered board) and that all needs to be processed and produced, my money is on just the forms. Deciphering the press release could be a question at the quiz though.
-
All 7 would be good. Anything which stops another bloody team being posted.

I wasn't talking specifically about Lambert which is why I put as a general point. However, in hindsight it no doubt isn't that straight forward and getting a team together with a Crump, Adams, Andersen (when he was a Panther) attitude on attendance is probably history As for Lambert and the SWC. Nobody would not wish him to ride if selected, although Mrs Lambert posting on Facebook about let's see how irritated Panthers fans are when he misses meetings because of it wasn't the brightest piece of electronic communication, neither were the excuses as to why he couldn't make a Panthers fixture that his fellow competitors found quite easy to do so?
-
As a general point though, if a rider signs for a club for the season (not for life) then he has agreed to turn out for that club during that season, irrespective of whether someone waves a bigger wad in front of their face at some point.

Just Got Back From Rome.........
Crump99 replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Asking the Pope when he was leaving because Matt Ford was looking for a new challenge and the possibility of building a track in the Vatican City did cause a bit of a stink. -
Finally a good point!
-
No idea, but Ford will win as per usual with what we totally mismanaged. Can't see Ford putting all his chips on Bjerre though, although if he did then he'd pile up the points everywhere no doubt

Would seem that the Union Jack was correct and the PL was Poole.
-
I would ask why but you'll not see it, but just in case

Thus proving how bad things can become.

Jeez I hate Sundays. It's always about who's too big (and they all aren't very big tbh) these days for two bob Panthers. That may seem a bit harsh but we did fall off a cliff two years ago, survived the fall thanks to Rathbone and Swales but there's no easy route back and we're fighting for scraps at the bottom. I do try to like it, honest, but then some bozo mentions Sunday, Poland or the pleasant ambience is broken by a working roving mic. Yes I have just woken up and got out the wrong side of bed
-
Panthers in the PL has been a charity for two seasons so I've done my bit, don't you concern yourself
-
I think that anyone who mentions Poland on a Panthers thread should have to donate £5 to a charity of their choice!
-
Now now, you'll only upset me a Rodders with posts like that (don't try and work it out )
-
Jeez, that bite must have pulled our looney friend's arms somewhat It's becoming so common now that supremo has to have a chance of redefinition in OED 2016 (adult edition )
-
Being able to say it the same time every year is a bonus as well. Is that it?
-
No riders to leave the pits until the crowd has been told who's in the race. Trying to guess the changes as the riders sit at tapes gets right on my wick.
-
Might as well have one big NL anyway because that's the direction of travel.

I've no doubt that there's a clear split and understanding regarding assets anyway. Our quality asset list disappeared when Horton arrived and I suspect that it is not part of the club but any business since 2014 is. I don't think we'll see Frost and Mahoney back at the helm, which is disappointing for me because I'm not a great fan of what we have now, but Rick will be much more at home near Poole Bay (who wouldn't tbh). So for a return from where we came, this is the only sensible thing the supremo Horton said: “This club needs another Rick Frost and Julie Mahoney, people with the finances to make it work.” As you say, only those paying the bills know how sustainable the club is without Readypower but it always brings us back to Bratley's point of the club being unable to survive on attendances alone and therefore needs a thriving commercial side? Personally I think that helps but doesn't stop the inevitable, as our history shows, although with a lesser product seemingly being watered down as well, the costs should be reducing year on year, although that should balance out with the drop off of fans?
-
Would seem logical and I tend to agree. Rick's keen on positive press and he gets plenty of that with Rathbone at the helm. Rick and Julie can now protect their asset for another successful year to coincide with the end of the 2 year deal at Poole, at least in it's present form (I'm not aware of any extension or greater involvement). Then they'll have something to sell at Peterborough if they want to or they can return and run it themselves if they have the time and inclination, or they can get more involved at Poole. I suspect Readypower will just stick to sponsorship now, so what they have works well I'd imagine.

Which fan is that? Is it just your mentalist self or are there others?
-
They don't do long term though and everything is short term even though it isn't dressed up like that. I agree that it's always reactive in response to self created problems. They just hope that it bottoms out at some point, but they started a snowball going downhill and it shows no sign of stopping. Until the lunatics are not running the asylum, isn't it naïve to think that self interest will not continue, whatever they come up with.

The league structure used to nurture progression perfectly well. That's the post of an apologist for the annual rule and structure tinkering in speedway's continued race to the bottom. You might also add that if we lose more fans then it's a price worth paying for a wholesome local product.

Yes, I must say, Mr Taps, we appreciate your involvement on the creative side, but, sadly, the Panthers team builder job description does not include the requirement "Must have intellectual capacity of a boiled potato." Now, return to your tractor and drive off to where the sun don’t shine if you please
