I can see that you're struggling now. Why not go and pollute the 4TT thread which is more relevant to what you're wittering on about. I'm not going Sunday so am not fussed what they do. They can only be illegal if the rules mean anything.

David Howe Annonces His Retitrement
Crump99 replied to Sotonian's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Also the shape and size of the Peterborough circuit is down to Mr Howe as extensive work was carried out to bring the World Under 21 final to the Showground in 2001 if my memory serves me right? -
Everybody gets on everyone's wick at some point. If you want Fluffy Bunny then visit Facebook pages. I can appreciated that match threads get a bit heated and may cause the sort of reaction that you point out, but this is Panthers thread and your 3rd post on this page already. It's usually people who come on to our team threads posting tripe for a reaction who then think the problem is with us - I'd take a step back and think about that

Only Ostrich I think but I'm not that interested tbh and the assets page that we once had left us in 2014 (moved to Poole allegedly?). Unless someone with vision buys Frost out then you're right on the first point (not that anyone in their right mind would by into the current BEL set up) and it's hard to disagree with the other two points. One big PL/NL league combo can't be too far away.

My thoughts are that we just get this out of the way, return to the EL in 2016 and leave you lot to argue amongst yourselves as we host the event for the BSPA with no Panthers team interest, apart from someone probably using our riders? Otherwise, think that it's outlived its usefulness so I'd scrap it.

Must just nip out for the popcorn

You should get out more. In fact looking at those who agree, it reminds me of stevebrum & his posee in the caravan, perhaps he'll loan it out for the weekend (subject to BSPA guidelines of course).

Glasgow V Peterborough (26.07.15)
Crump99 replied to em1500uk's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Good idea and thankfully spelt correctly. The only thing I know about spelling is that you don't spell "special" with a "ho"! -
That's true. There are always two sides, and if speedway told the truth more often and didn't treat fans like mugs then they might not get so upset when those fans try to make sense of the type of disinformation that is often put out in the public domain. Bratters always accused me of looking for a story that wasn't there. Basically because so much guff was put out, you end up never believing any of it unfortunately. Sullivan, Andersen, Zabik, MJJ, the Drymls, we've had much bigger fish than Lambert to doubt at times. Anyway, looking at the German forum, Lambert didn't ride so that's one up to him.

I've never believed that things come in threes but the evidence is stacking up.

You can tell it's written by speedway hating Swann: he's probably read that supremo is a no-go but he's no idea who it relates to? "Peterborough Panthers supremo hopes" Broken shoulder, 2 1/2 weeks - that'd be some trick! That's pushing it for a simple collar bone.
-
At least some things don't change. Good news about the quiz though!

We can't be too far away from a 4TT where a team turns up with 4 guests
-
Panthers haven't had that mentality for 8 years, hence a total lack of success and loss of status. Rathbone seems to get everyone on board but it does seem that he will make the difficult decisions on the team front.
-
That may be true but not until it's confirmed "The club will announce their team plans for the crucial Premier League showdown against Sheffield tomorrow (Friday) in due course." - unless you're Mr Due Course of course?
-
Has he told us? "Lambert’s new average of 8.53 has taken effect, but captain Ulrich Ostergaard remains at number one on his mark of 8.63. That means the youngster can only be covered by the rider replacement facility" Unless Blackbird being out changes things?
-
not according to the website, but that'd be nothing new! "Panthers will operate the rider replacement facility to cover the absence of Lambert,"

Berwick V Peterborough (on Sky) Wed, July 8th
Crump99 replied to crescent girl's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I don't think it was. He just went for the white line to stop the rider inside him. Mick Poole used to do that week in and week out for Panthers, as Andersen did here at 2.16? There's a bit more room at the EoES but you get the idea. If the bloke inside keeps the throttle on to try to barge through (it can work at the EoES, as I watched Lambert do in our last home meeting) then that's the gamble, this time he got it wrong: that's racing!
