It never was as if they run it next year, what has it got to do with the Jubilee? It should never have changed from the Championship Trophy & should be ridden as the first Tournament/Trophy of the season.
-
Yes. At least 4 riders were riding in Poland Liga 2
-
They say that every year.

It takes 2 teams to play ball & the riders with other commitments & injuries.

Year after year, it is always the same for the more successful clubs & this why cut off dates should be in place for all stages of competitions. They use different race nights for end of season so why can't they use them earlier in the season.

...... and the hottest day EVER recorded in Britain this summer is only around 45 miles south of Scunthorpe.
-
A poster had insinuated that the tyres were kept in an "over heated portacabin" due to the hot summer & was a contributory factor in their failure up here at Scunthorpe. I asked this question, and many others, at our last meeting & was told that the tyres are not kept here & the failures could have been due to the nature of the track. The track was one of those that tyres tests were done on & just recently, the track has been slicker than usual. So, due to the slick track, size in length & warm weather could all be factors leading to the failures. We, in Britain, also use a different make/model of tyre compared to the rest of Europe. In road racing (possibly TT) there was also a make of tyre that wore quickly down to the canvas & a tyre blew, I think on M Dunlop's bike, & riders then chose to ride on another make.

A referee gives it as they see it. No access to any media clip replays. -

Amazing! They use the "precedence" card now when it should have been used earlier to get meetings in. They can not use the excuse of "we can not ride that date as we have riders missing" as that is why we have our necessary evil in "guests" which we can not eradicate.

The only rider, this season, to be investigated should be Kennett!

Scunthorpe vs Leicester 02/09/22
IronScorpion replied to False dawn's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Hope Lambert is not having intermittent carb problems tonight like he did Saturday. Will need a full check over, even if it could be our last meeting. Wright unsure but maybe out his depth. Douglas came off at Sheffield but back for re-run. A test for tomorrow with, hopefully, no ill effects. -
Stars v Panthers 01/09/22
IronScorpion replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It would seem riders do not want to do too much racing in case of getting injuries at this vital stage of the season. Even in the Championship, Redcar & Scunthorpe could not get guests to cover Riss & Douglas Friday & Saturday. -

If Harris & Basso are presumably going to be your best riders, why have them riding together at 1 & 2 three times? -

Noticed he & Masters have pulled out of Middlo Testimonial to give themselves a bit more rest. Hope it's not aggravated for Friday. -

Which means, by my maths, you would win.
