Around £200-£400 is figures I have seen or read previously. I seem to remember looking at this area of the rules before & you have to be on track heading towards the starting area after the expiry of the 2 minutes BUT you are not allowed to prepare your starting area(deemed delaying the start). Difference being British rules & Polish rules but I do like the Polish rule as at the expiry of the 2 minutes you have to be ready to race or you're out.

With most of the Scunthorpe riders not ridden since 3rd July, rustiness & lack of confidence/ability on a technical track, I can not se further than a good tonking about 62-28 with Dougy getting about 12-13 from 7 rides.

Looking at the league table, I think we are destined to finish 7th so with just 1 home & 3 away league meetings, the outstanding KOC meeting & the Jubilee Trophy meetings to ride, we have 3 options. Try to find a foreign rider around 8.3 to finish our season with European Leagues almost finished, a rider similar to whom Berwick signed (Knudson) with a view to next year or go r/r with Roynon, Kennedy & either Lambert or Wright as the riders above Palin on average(now but changes on 1/8/22).

I know nothing, nothing!! ... (Private Shultz) The other week, 3 riders (Masters, Pickering & Douglas) rode at Edinburgh on Friday, Poland Saturday & Scunthorpe Sunday yet the general public can't get away on holiday!!!

Sam is in the named Rawicz team, as r & r has eluded too so, treatment or not, Poland Div 2 rules even on our designated race days for Championship. One position not named in Rawicz squad was at no 3 which should be Pickering if he gets through his next couple of British meetings. By Gr8scot's post Sam WILL have treatment Saturday & by r & r's post, he WILL then travel to Poland.

It says concussion on updates so will be similar to Palin on age, 12 days.

Basso rides for Glasgow who ride home meetings on Fridays, mostly. Poole are at home on Wednesday.

Well, it is now Friday night & still no news from the Scunthorpe camp. Has Roynon jumped the gun by saying something to the press that printed it on Wednesday? Have the checks been made & ratified by the BSP Ltd? Or have Scunthorpe changed their mind & waiting for a better/European rider to be available?

I checked updates & Roynon scored 0, 0, 1, 0 but gated a few times & passed but on pace/close to riders when behind. Coles has been scoring the points asked of him & put in print by Rob Godfrey in heat 2 but not this last Sunday in the difficult no6 position.

I have seen it in the newspaper & it doesn't say & I cannot find anything on paper website(minority sport?)

Adam Roynon released by Redcar on Monday & snapped up by Scunthorpe is the press release in the Daily Star. Probably just going through the checks, if all is ok, before announced by Scunthorpe by website or social media.

It is in the programme in Rob's notes, diagnosed bowel cancer a month ago. Best wishes to Dave & his family with a speedy recovery.

There is a bit of a discussion going on in tonight's thread(Edinburgh v Scunthorpe) & it is manly about the injury, yesterday, to Jordan Palin ruling him out with concussion but being lucky to not have other injuries & what is available for us. As I understand, at this moment in time, as we are using R/R for Jake to give Ryan an extra ride, we can now use a guest for Jordan. Kasper Andersen is our guest. The team, as I understand will be 1. Douglas 2. Lambert 3. Andersen 4. Wright 5. R/R 6. Coles 7. Kennedy If anything I have posted here is wrong I apologise but this is my take on the situation as it stands.

If that is straight from the rule book then anything that is highlighted stipulates a new rule for this year. cheers
