  1. It wasn't that long ago that people were talking about how Madsen generates so much speed out of the corners. Also, Laguta was fast in the first 2 GP's but that was down to the tyres. What, just the tyres? What about the other riders using them!
  2. I wouldn't say you were a fan, especially reading your comments on the GP's & Poole threads. You are still living the high, glory years as a Poole fan. Move on & give most of us a rest as I would think 50% of the posters wish you were there so we do not have to read your drivel!
  3. First 4 are the finalists, 5th & 6th are the 3rd place finishers in the semis with 7th & 8th being the 4th placed finishers in the semis. simples!
  4. It has been said elsewhere that most supporters of speedway, in this country, are of the older generation.
  5. 20 acres is, probably, big enough but it is the shape of the land to build the track first then the ancillary buildings around it.
  6. Yet, people have a go at our own BSPL(formally BSPA) for changing things up a bit. Just read the last 8-9 pages & about 85% of it is about the scoring system.
  7. If it is not broke, don't fix it! What was wrong with the old system? Rewarded consistency!
  8. With the teams, almost, fully announced we have Stags - 1 rider with a 5.16 Championship average, 4 riders with a combined 24+ NDL average, 1 rider(to give the Cubs a chance) riding an upright & still doing 4 laps in 60 seconds, 1 rider 1 year on a 500cc plus 2 decent 250cc riders in the Youth Series. Cubs - 1 rider with a 4.73 Championship average, 4 riders with a combined 29 NDL average plus 3 riders that have, I think, raced at NDL level plus 1 rider doing well in the 250cc Youth Series. So, all in all, 17 lads, sorry, riders wanting to have a competitive spin out on a decent track & put on a spectacle for some fans on Bank Holiday Monday. Enjoy.
  9. Sorry, thought you were mentioning price at Sheffield but from previous posts, I remember you being a visiter to "Sunny" Scunny.
  10. What about the programme/booklet at £3 plus the parking at £2(which goes to the stadium owners).
  11. Glad you will not be there so I do not have to see your miserable face & spouting "doom" from all angles.
  12. The standard of racing is nearly always of a high standard at Scunthorpe. Unfortunately, the announcing is one of the poorest I have known & has been for some time, regularly mentioned on the updates & forum over the past few years. Rob does not seem to have a problem, keeping the microphone close to his mouth when he speaks so this must be the reason that the announcer cannot keep the microphone close to his mouth when reading out details.
  13. Can you name any other track that has covid-19 restrictions in place that can run with supporters?
  14. Does Jordan Palin's acceptance & success in the U19's this weekend keep him out of turning out in the other youth rounds in Leicester & Manchester because of quarantine rules? Should be ok, though, for the Bank Holiday Challenge Match.
  15. If Craig Cook still rode for Belle Vue, I am pretty certain that you would not have posted that comment.
  16. The World Snooker at Sheffield are allowing 300 supporters in from a maximum of 980 seats. This is allowed as a group family/bubble can be up to 4 people. How can you prove that these 4 people are a family or in the bubble as anybody can put names down when applying for tickets.
