Rob Godfrey will be taking questions from supporters(all and sundry) on the BSPA twitter feed on Friday 10 April from 7.30 onwards. I am not sure how long this will go on for or whether questions will be vetted but I wonder if those that question his stance, morals & beliefs will have the b@ll$ to question him, even though they normally do it behind a screen(computer, phone, ipad etc) they should have a go under similar circumstances.

Definitely a bit harsh. Remember, it was heat 1 so no wide line available to about heat 4 or 5(there is even no wide line passing at the NSS until similar & I have been there to witness both Premiership & NDL). There was still multi line racing with both Howe & Howarth experts at the EWR.

Isn't there a form that the captain has to sign to say riders have been paid? Was Steve your captain last year? This is why I find that the system is wrong when riders that do not get paid, withhold their services until they do get paid, but get a 28 day ban!

If it gets suspended for a few months until June, could we see a reduced fixture list of the Premiership only riding 1 Home 1 Away & the Championship being just regional(North/South divide) then top 2 or 4 go to semi finals or quarter finals depending on number of teams.

Thought it was now on Eurosport & talk on updates(Ben Fund) is that Sky & BT have lost out to Amazon Prime.

Ryan Douglas is big mates with him & not sure if they were living together this year. It would not surprise me if he goes as well.

On paper, the stand out rider is Danny King but this is the 1st meeting of the year, and for the riders, it will be about dusting off the cobwebs & testing a few things. More importantly, it is about the funds raised, not just in this meeting but about the whole year for riders & families that require help.

There was a programme on tv last week, A New Life In The Sun, where a British couple had moved abroad to work, were successful so applied for residency status. This was accepted and he said he was now "not British as is living in Spain".

Wasn't there a similar situation either last year or year before where a rider could not ride at a certain track in an open meeting as is was not a track raced on in his only league.

9.84. I am afraid it is highly unlikely that we will ever see him back in the Championship as he has now set his sights & aims higher by participating in the European leagues.

There is a central seating area of approximately 50 seats but it is an old temporary stand with steep steps. There might be some seats available in the clubhouse, peering out the windows. As has been said, there is a large car park & the area opposite the stadium is free parking but with a walk. At a previous busy meeting, we used the field at the side of the main car park once this was full.

It is that good a line up of friends for Josh that 10 of these riders could be in the CLRC in September!
