  1. Would Ash Holloway helped in getting him a spot after buying 6 of his tuned engines.
  2. As speedway venues in Britain are part seating/part standing, it would be hard to put a maximum figure to a venue. We, at Scunthorpe, have standing area almost all around the track, bar the pit area, & with a clubhouse, 2 stands & a small seating area, could set a socially distanced limit of around 1200. As stadiums in Poland are seated, then it is easy to set a 25% max limit(although I think it has just been increased to 50%) & in Britain, Football, Cricket, Arenas, Crucible are all seating so % limits are easily set.
  3. I think that our British testing of vaccines & other medical testing is more thorough than other countries. When the MRSA bug was heavily around, America, Germany & Spain were just a few of the countries using a certain make of vaccine & cleaning agents that could not get passed by our testing accreditors.
  4. Indoor arenas have seating so can be socially distanced & air conditioning. That might seem ok but what about the intervals every 4 frames? Although crowd level will be decreased, where do they normally gather? At the toilets, the bar & café, the merchandise stalls, bookie & screens although a ciggie break might be ok outside.
  5. Thought you might have just not what you typed. Just putting you right, just in case.
  6. Eh? He is a triple World Champion (03, 07 & 08)
  7. Woffy likes a bit of motoX & has a nice KTM to prove it.
  8. Used to & still does annoy me when a phone goes off. There are signs on the entrances to the auditoriums & pre match warnings/advice. If a phone goes off, kick them out & keep them out!
  9. Pretty similar to the people running our country, then.
  10. It is not the KGB you need to worry about but the Russian hackers of the APT29, Cozy Bear or the Dukes with the cyber warfare of trying to access areas that are doing Covid vaccine trials.
  11. I would guess, mostly, it will be due to airtime for sponsors & tv coverage/timetables similar to a GP.
  12. I thought that, too, that they have set track breaks but then the other week, a meeting had a bowser on after heat 2. Tried to find rules but too many threads to check through.
  13. They are called "Gaming International". Also, read into Torquay United Football Club and stadium.
  14. I have, also, been viewing quite a few rewind meetings & races on YouTube & there has been a few when even the riders have come to the tapes, the riders do their gardening then adjust the clutch lever. The video clip has sometimes run to 1.20 - 1.30 minutes. In the 10 or 12 meetings that Poland have had, how many heats have had restarts because of movement or tape infringements? Probably less than we have in ONE meeting!
  15. Families do not need to social distance(even 2 households are allowed to congregate together). How long is an adults arm? approx. 600mm so people will not need to stand that far apart. Face masks, gloves & hand sanitizer must be compulsory, though. Just my opinions, folks.
  16. I guess the squad system suits "as and when" under the covid19 blanket, even in Poland.
  17. Does it say how we can watch it or do you have to have "special boxes" to view. Would it also be on YouTube 24 hours later.
  18. The relevance is to Law. Garrity carried out an unlawful act, threatening a woman with a knife. This lad causes ABH with life threatening injuries. I watch a bit of Police Interceptors on tv & fines do not fit the crimes.
  19. Apologies to any family members that might read this https://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/news/hull-east-yorkshire-news/court-motorbike-crash-boy-leg-4168562 This story has been on Look North this week.
  20. It could be due to Government/Health restrictions. My personal view is that they are easing restrictions too early as it is still not under control. I am expecting a spike & the "R" number to go above 1 because of the publics stupidity to enjoy the sunshine not locally, thus, not being able to keep the pandemic local as people have travelled too far. There are plenty of parks/grassland areas in towns & cities without travelling to the seaside putting undue pressure on seaside locals. If the weather had not been so good, we would still be "housed up."
  21. edited for accuracy The 2nd one made me chuckle, though. Oops. edited wrong bit. line above name change! I have read it again but was never good at English. In print, you can read it differently.
  22. Yet, strangely, petrol & diesel is now around £1 & £1.05 respectively around our area at supermarkets compared to about £1.15 & £1.20 back in March yet vehicle usage is a lot less.
