Yes, its a great pity for Stoke that Mcbain is out injured for this one, I think Widman could be a bit of a thorn in the side though Vog, as could Ben Hopwood, so i would expect Stoke to knock in somewhere around the 35 point mark, no mean feat really at Monmore Wood.

Doesnt look like it, but the point Of the post was Tom IS available Plymouth needed someone and i suggested him, Tom rode as a guest yesterday for Glasgow, his 1st look at the Track, and scored 5 points. There are Teams around the country who Tom could do a job for, I dont understand why he has NOT got a Team place, yet riders from afar struggle to get points. Tom wont get you double figures, but he will give 110%, and pick up those sometimes vital 3/4,s.

I have heard, the Kings promotion are using jungle drums as opposed to the internet for promotional purposes..
-
Tom was a little unlucky yesterday, but i can see why you would prefer to keep James Shanes as reserve for the devils, Tom did score 5 guesting for Glasgow today, which was his first ever look at the track. Still think he can do a job for someone in the PL.

Guys am i correct in thinking as i travel along the A38, the St Boniface Track is over on my right, but i have to leave to my left (obviously) then go under the A38, is there a Junction number ?.

Nice to see a Nl meeting being run again at Plymouth, cant see this beeing to much trouble for The in form Heathens, with Tapes up at 1-15, and a good weather forecast, Im expecting to see a large crowd for what will be my first visit to Plymouth. Im expecting The Heathens to be scoring close on 60 pts here.

The scenario, Im a casual fan living local to Kent Kings, beutiful sunny summers evening. I think i will go to the Speedway this evening, so i put my shorts and shades on, when i get there its off (due to a waterlogged Track) Im thinking to myself, is someone having a laugh, it aint rained all afternoon.. You when you score own goals like this, it one heck of a lot to get these people along to the Speedway again, they will choose to go elsewhere, where they can chill, and have some entertainment, and a .

Maybe it was raining at Rye House, and the management forgot, it was Kent they were running on mondays.
-
Scunny run fridays, Storm fridays, plymouth saturdays (eventually), Stoke saturdays, buxton and mildenhall on sundays, i would have thought at least 2 of them could have held a meeting. shakes my head in disbelief.

We are now into the 2nd week of june, the 1st weekend has just gone, I simply cannot believe there was NOT ONE NL meeting run over the weekend just gone, plz plz realise its a summer sport, i will say here and now, and say it again i do NOT want to be freezing my wotsits off, watching Speedway on a freezing cold October evening but it WILL happen as it always does, will promoters never learn ?. They wonder why supporters are drifting away..
-
I take your point, and you are obviously more aware of the situation between the two Teams/Clubs, however as a non local, but as a Speedway fan, i do read a fair amount and draw conclusions be they right or wrong. Rye House Run by the same people as Kent Kings, Len Silver & Co, Rye House on a downward spirral on track, on a downward spirral supporter wise, and PR none exsistant, except for my way or no way.. supporters nowadays simply wont put up with that attitude in this day and age, otherwise they will vote with there feet. Kent Kings Great Stadium, fantastic potential, great catchment area BUT Crowds are down, Track isnt perfect, Team has weaknesses, and PR has gone the same way as RH almost none exsistant, can anyone point me in one direction that Kent is an improvement on Rye House ?.
-
I really worry for Kents future, if you want to know why, just read the Rye House v Somerset thread, it seems to me Kent are being run by the same people, are Kent heading in the same direction ?.
-
I dont know, but i know deanno was looking for one.
-
Rachel Corden is the person who needs persuading to see Speedway at Colwell Park.
-
Lets just hope, the weather will play ball, should be a good afternoons racing.
-
Well weather permitting you will be able to see Tom at Plymouth next saturday, judge for yourselves.. i guess sods law will come into play, and he will have problems of some kind. but whatever it will be his first competitive meeting since he broke his collar bone guesting for Ipswich in the Pl.
-
It is under 4.38 but then i guess Scunthorpe would be doing to Matt what Tom has had done to him, and remember they are team mates at Cradley, difficult one really.
-
I notice Tom Perry is looking for a Team spot, he has just been sacked as Leicester FTR, and this after just investing in new equipment, now i know he isnt going to get you double figures but he should be capable of getting you 3/4 points per meeting, and you have had a few close meetings with your reserve scoring nowt. I make No apologies for suggesting this, but i do think he could do a job for you.

Whilst this is good news, one must remember Tony Mole has been actively involved trying to find a location for The Heathens, since the demise of Dudley Wood, with no success, so there is no earth shattering news really with this announcement. If there had been land available Tony would have known it, there is the possibility they have brought Tony on board because he may have the financial clout to move things forward, but of course they wouldnt make that kind of statement publicly.
-
Is this an error ie, wont return or wont return to the Team ?
-
The Promoters are not interested in having Speedway.
-
Yes you are correct there, you only need to look how many points DG scored, and Olly, Nielsen and Sarj are currently better riders than Dan, so they would have scored 30+ between them dont know how many there replacement rides actually scored.
-
Hope the weather plays ball, looking forward to visiting Plymouth.

I keep reading about how much Kent are missing Benji, i agree up to a point, but the rider you are missing most of all is Brandon, and except for Scunthorpe, Plymouth and Buxton you will get nothing away while Mason performs so poorly at away tracks, really NO excuse for him with the experience that he has, its between Kent, Stoke, Mildy and KL for two of the three Play Off places, Storm and Cradley will deffo be two, so how you perform against them home and away is vital.
