Morris chucking the race here. Bad tactics all round. -

Is it ok to fence the opposition then? Further proof here that we cocked up on the tactical. -

Yeah. If Morris doesn't win we are stuffed anyway so put him on it. Rosco is thinking about 8-1 I suspect. -
Best way to get to know about Cardiff coaches is to join the Swindon supporters Facebook page. It tends to get arranged through there.

Yes, although it is already full.

We originally thought we had a chance, but your arguments that Swindon are rubbish were so convincing that we believed you. -
Not really much of an apology. More like apportioning blame onto the riders - which may or may not be the case. He's basically saying: "Sorry, but it was riders' fault not mine".

Wow! Great win. If Swindon can get into the play offs and have a full strength side we could be dangerous! Five points from our new Pole. Just what we need. -

I watched this last night. Most noticeable thing, after watching speedway on these tracks, is how slow it looked in comparison. Interesting that Kevin Doolan took part in one of the races. Not surprisingly, with speedway experience, he won it. -
My point exactly.

Polish crowd levels can sustain 3 rounds. I'm not sure Britain could sustain 2 until they can sell out one.

I don't belive it's as straight forward as a Woffy v Rosco thing. Even if Tai isn't particularly happy with Rosco's management style (ie he picks the team and runs it rather than Woffy doing it or is too much "one of the lads") this goes much deeper than that. Why would Woffy not ride in the British final because Rosco is Team GB manager? We've had riders and managers quitting for many years now. There are clearly problems that cause the top riders/managers so much frustration that they feel they can't ride. These have gone on before Rosco was manager and will go on after unless there are big changes. We need Woffinden in the side, but he can't just choose not to ride because he doesn't approve of the manager and I don't believe that is his reason - even if he isn't happy with Rosco.

No Jason Doyle tonight. -
Is he the guy who used a term to describe Rohan Tungate, that also resulted in a Tory MP getting sacked this week as a result using the same term?

How is this significant? I assume that you are indicating here that the Team GB build up was very different. If so, how? -
Any good? Can't tell one Pole from another these days. If he scores to his average then job done.

If there is any change other than a straight replacement for Dany I would be very disappointed. However, Dany's absences and his low Second division scoring would mean a change would make sense.

Unfortunately, people in this country love a Frank Bruno over a Lennox Lewis - and Tai is a Lennox Lewis. I remember looking on in disbelief when the two fought and an entire pub wanted Bruno to beat 'The Canadian'. We had a british fighter good enough to take on the World and the Great British public wanted him to lose to someone who had already fallen short because his mum had moved to Canada when he was a kid. I see a lot of similarities in the attitudes towards Tai and Lennox. -

There is a rule that you can be excluded for not making a bonafide effort to race. There is also a rule that you can be excluded for falling off. Is falling off also cheating then? No problem with Bachelor being excluded. I just don't think it's cheating to try and use the joker if it is an option. Otherwise it shouldn't be an option. It's been a rule for a long time. I remember SteveGresham getting excluded at Swindon for not trying. -

Whilst it was rather funny watching thevAussies mess up, I don't see why people are saying they were cheating. If there is a rule that enables you to benefit from being behind by a certain amount of points then it's perfectly legitimate to play for it as far as I'm concerned. It's a stupid rule, but as long as It is there it needs to be played for. -
I really hope we get to keep riders like Zak and Adam last year. Adam struggled at the start of the year, but had found his feet now. We suffered a bit through his slow start, it would be a shame not to benefit from his improvement. Zak, I think, could be a bit special. Even at the start of the year, as a supposed 2 point struggler, he was scoring. Next year, we could go with 5 or 6 members of this side and have a really good team. If only the sport enabled consistency. The side was chosen with improvement in mind. I just hope it is Swindon who benefit from such improvement next season. With Lakeside in the NL, I don't see why we can't retain these 2 at least, and possibly make them assets.

The races can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFWaxpcNP-s Hilarious. Joker was shown up for what it is, and should have been scrapped right there and then, but instead they decide that the riders are in the wrong. Now they even have a joker race jacket, which says to me they are pretty proud of their joker rule.
