  1. Think we all knew they’d finish bottom. They had even less to pick from than Ipswich! I agree with you even though I’m an Ipswich supporter. I wouldn’t have minded one bit if Northampton picked up the win here, we’re not going to win it this year anyway. Where is the “help” that was said they’d be getting if results weren’t forthcoming? They need some home results, the whole league needs Northampton to get home results. Doyle would have been very handy for them..
  2. Tis true I’m afraid. Everyone is different I suppose and you’d hope that wouldn’t be the case. You get paid what you score at the end of the day (unless you’re on some kind of guarantee) but he does seem to need to be motivated.
  3. Simply a must win for Lynn I think even at this stage. An Ipswich win will probably be the nail in the coffin for Lynn. Not that it really matters for either club in the big scheme of things. Either club will be there just to make up the numbers this year.
  4. As he said in his interview, there’s certain A list clubs that you want to ride for, and Ipswich is one of them. A happy Musielak at a good club is a fine rider. It’s when he’s at a club that isn’t particularly well run that he loses interest pretty quickly.
  5. Fair play to Musielak there, rode his nuts off. Track very difficult to pass on but he made one, and nearly a couple of others.
  6. https://ipswichwitches.co/witches-star-nicholls-eyes-northampton-repeat/ Kevin Juhl Pedersen in for Bangs.
  7. To be fair I’m not sure more than one mention for Dan was needed? It was a review of the meeting and he wasn’t in it. Howarth on the other hand, WAS involved in the meeting and him uncharacteristically scoring zero especially at reserve, is a deserved talking point.
  8. This is the type of stuff that ALL clubs need to do far more of. You go on some clubs’ social media and official websites and they’re mostly incredibly poor. Some rarely get updated at all and it comes across as they really can’t be bothered. It’s such an easy and simple thing to do and this is the kind of thing Coleman was talking about in terms of lack of promoting. Keep the X posts flowing, Facebook, Official websites, ram it down people’s throats regularly and keep all the clubs in the forefront of their supporters minds. Its not a hard thing to do.
  9. And none of us would be the least bit surprised 😂
  10. He admitted live on the telly box a few weeks back that he didn’t make himself too popular with the others by publicly backing his riders over the insurance stuff but he just laughed it off. Don’t think he’s the least bit bothered to be honest. He was getting on absolutely fine with Mark Lemon last night though. They were have a good laugh and a chat for a good half hour before the meeting. We had a chat with him ourselves a few weeks ago at the rained off meeting. He was just inside the gates with Andrew Chisholm as we walked in, no airs and graces with him, he seems a genuine down to earth bloke and is very approachable. He had time to chat and answer questions to anyone that was asking him.
  11. “It’s fair to say we are already working on our team for 2027, and we are excited to see the kind of side we can build with the luxury of months to recruit riders, rather than facing the last minute scramble we did for 2026 as most of the teams were already assembled by the time we came to the table” I really like this fella 😁
  12. Rumours hey Phil? Don’t you just love em? 😉 Its ok though, I’m sure we’ll get a good replacement 😁
  13. Well they should be winning really shouldn’t they? Building their team before last season even ended whilst ours was built weeks before the season started putting together Speedway’s version of the “undateables”!? Let them have their excitement with their monumental victory against all odds!!!! Well done on that absolute spanking on Monday lads! Who’d have thunk it!?? 😁 If our Dan gets himself fit this season bless him, please look after him for us Leno cos we’ll need him fit and firing next year when we get to properly defend our title 😁
  14. Win lose or draw? Meh who cares! Roll on next year. Rest up OUR Dan, we need you fit and firing next season 😁
  15. This was also touched on in the Ipswich/Wroclaw piece in this weeks Speedway Star. It’s a good read
  16. His attitude at Foxhall was quite telling. Polar opposite to Sayfutdinov who obliterated the Foxhall track record pretty quickly. All riders are different and have different mentalities. It wasn’t just Foxhall where Laguta’s “effort” was called in to question either, there were others.
  17. I do indeed remember them. But I’ll look at it another way to you. We tried to help Tom in the next step of his career to help him progress. Learning from Doyle and Emil and further his speedway education riding in a successful team, giving him a Champions medal in front of a healthy crowd. Instead of leaving him to fester at a club that just wasnt supported, riding in front of one man and his dog at a track that had no future. You can look at things in different ways, depending on your agenda.
  18. “There are lots of areas where we will be stronger together than we would be on our own. I'm quite excited and enthused about the benefits that this strategic partnership can bring." One obvious potential area for cooperation could be with riders. Could Wroclaw send the likes of 2021 World Champion Artem Laguta, Brady Kurtz or Dan Bewley to Foxhall? Belle Vue boss Mark Lemon might have something to say about the latter two options and Laguta is not known for being a fan of the tight and technical Ipswich track. But Coleman hopes the strategic partnership, as he calls it, could open some doors for the Witches in terms of attracting top talent to Foxhall. Asked if Wroclaw may have a role in team-building, Coleman replied: "That has already been discussed. Obviously, these things have to work for both parties and the riders we are talking about. But I feel that Wroclaw will be very helpful and involved in how we build our squad for 2027. "Ultimately, we were very late with team-building after I was able to buy the club for this year, so we were on the back foot with how we built the squad "I'm really pleased and proud of how we were able to build the team given the lateness of everything coming together. But I want to be in the opposite camp for 2027. I want to be building a squad early.” Just a snippet from today’s Star. First three pages dedicated to Wroclaw buying 30% of the Witches. Well worth a read not just for Ipswich fans either.
  19. We’re in good hands that’s for sure. Great to hear Donc is back in the team! 😁

  21. Bloody hell how could I forget Swidders 😲 That first season we had him, he was like Loram, John Cook and Gollob rolled in to one. Absolutely box office. Tailed off second season unfortunately. Probably as you say, because he was back on a 500cc 😂
  22. Love Bewley (who doesn’t?) But although he keeps saying he enjoys riding here, statistically it’s probably his worst track over here. If Doyle rides and is fit, Belle Vue really should be winning. A fit Doyle more than likely wouldn’t have trouble seeing off any Ipswich rider around Foxhall. Hope he’s fit personally, I was looking forward to seeing him back. Love Doyley.
  23. Slabon, Rempala, Puzsakowki, we’ve had a few for sure! Loved ol Puz he was such a bundle of energy and a born entertainer
