And Erik Riss rode the Green as though it was his home track! One of the limited highlights from the Stars.

Who finishes Top • Robins or Pirates?
Lefty replied to ReadingRacer2017's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Apologies for late reply. I was going to type it all out but "Call Me Wolfie" on the Wolves - King's Lynn thread had done this precis (Hope its ok Wolfie?). Now resolved to be Tues 17 Sept. CVS made some comments in the programme regarding the Peterborough meeting. Buster rescheduled the meeting for the 19th without consulting Wolves. When CVS contacted Peterborough about it they were very apologetic about it and removed the date from the fixtures and we've heard nothing since. CVS has tried to talk to Peterborough about it he was told that fixtures need to be agreed by Buster. CVS has had no choice but to ask the BSPA MC to intervene. He said in all his time involved in speedway he has never known anything like it -

Peterborough - Wolves (B) still has no agreed date. Full page in last nights Wolves proggy outlines CVS view. Is a Showground double header looming? -
Does Scott's ban cover Saturday night in the studio on BT?
-
And there was wallpaper stuck on the inside of the doors! #62 was a legend at Wolves... especially when he beat Mauger (and Olsen) at Exeter.
-
Any chance of Peterborough (B) away fixture being sorted out before Brexit or play-off cut-off date? It might be important.

Wolves v Poole Monday 26/8/19 at 8pm.

Could I congratulate Klindt on taking the starting gate gardening up to a new level of delay. All it needed it was a set of cones and a digger to complete his 2 mins of preparation. After the gardening was completed he rolled back a few yards to do his ADHD routine of goggle tapping, fuel cap tapping, cut-out tapping, helmet tapping, gloves shuffle and then finally obliged the start Marshall by getting up to the tapes!!! Credit must be given to the resultant gating enabling him to lead the races, although invariably he then provided most of the meeting passes as he progressed to the back! Not really my definition of a "Heat Leader" but I suppose that's what we are down to these days! -
Is NKI a case of a King''s Lynn rider, living in Peterborough signing for Ipswich???

It would be good to have the 1st heat start at 8pm, especially as speedway's good friend R/R will be appearing again! -
Probably there is a bulge under the carpet with the fixture options on this one. In the event of this qualifier being staged after the Final (Swindon vs Belle Vue are 12 &19 / Sept) then I would expect the lowest crowd at Monmore since Dan McCormack & CVS swapped us down with Brum and ran on Sundays.
-
Presume it was dictated by Sky Sports so advert breaks could take place after heats four, seven etc. Now with gardening at the starts we have an advert break between every heat. What happened to track rakers?

Steve, if the Somerset branch of the team is interested in having a go we might have a chance of a bonus point!!! -

Just left there ish.... My chum has got Malmo 61 proggy. Completes his world final collection. Celebrating in hereford now.. great to see Ken Eyre, Ronnie Correy and Dean Felton there... genuine riders for Wolves etc ... not bloody double ups. Raising more glasses to follow ... -
Fair call. I would put a speedway track next to the house builders' chairman that shut Cradley.... and I'm a Wolves fan!
-
Surely it has to be a top rider appearing at Cardiff next month? Is Chris Harris available??
-
At least the period in between enabled riders to get doubling up contracts!!!
-
Looks like they offer Paddle Replacement & Guest Paddles. Could be on a winner with this
-
Great to see a group of Peterborough fans standing near the starting gate. They gave good humour back to Porky, the centre green announcer and reminded us of the positives of having a team to identify with and support. They might be bottom but are seventh !!! Hope to see them later in the season when the Supporters Cup 2nd leg is run.... probably after Swindon & Belle Vue have staged the final.

Does your surname have anything to do with your statement
-
Bill Andrew - Poole & New Zealand rode in two British Finals !! Was it okay then???
-
Same thoughts for Rory tonight at Belle Vue???
-
So Nick Morris signs for Somerset and joins Rory. Glad I've paid good money watching Wolves home & away while he lowers his average... NOT. Say it ain't so Joe (again). Looks like the Spoons have done us again. Ugh

Wolverhampton v Peterborough - Prem Mon 22nd July
Lefty replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
A well run show last night. All 15 heats ran without a single re-start needed. Praise to the referee and riders for that. Given the longer interval of 25 mins for BEN fund collection and kids entertainment it was still all done and dusted in under two hours. -

For fans playing "Championship riders in the Premiership Bingo" tonight's meeting is:- Edinburgh / Leicester / Sheffield / Somerset + three others versus Berwick / Leicester / Eastbourne / Redcar / Sheffield / Somerset + one other. Positive spin: No r/r tonight
