Steve, if the Somerset branch of the team is interested in having a go we might have a chance of a bonus point!!! -

Just left there ish.... My chum has got Malmo 61 proggy. Completes his world final collection. Celebrating in hereford now.. great to see Ken Eyre, Ronnie Correy and Dean Felton there... genuine riders for Wolves etc ... not bloody double ups. Raising more glasses to follow ... -
Fair call. I would put a speedway track next to the house builders' chairman that shut Cradley.... and I'm a Wolves fan!
-
Surely it has to be a top rider appearing at Cardiff next month? Is Chris Harris available??
-
At least the period in between enabled riders to get doubling up contracts!!!
-
Looks like they offer Paddle Replacement & Guest Paddles. Could be on a winner with this

Great to see a group of Peterborough fans standing near the starting gate. They gave good humour back to Porky, the centre green announcer and reminded us of the positives of having a team to identify with and support. They might be bottom but are seventh !!! Hope to see them later in the season when the Supporters Cup 2nd leg is run.... probably after Swindon & Belle Vue have staged the final.

Does your surname have anything to do with your statement

Bill Andrew - Poole & New Zealand rode in two British Finals !! Was it okay then???
-
Same thoughts for Rory tonight at Belle Vue???
-
So Nick Morris signs for Somerset and joins Rory. Glad I've paid good money watching Wolves home & away while he lowers his average... NOT. Say it ain't so Joe (again). Looks like the Spoons have done us again. Ugh

Wolverhampton v Peterborough - Prem Mon 22nd July
Lefty replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
A well run show last night. All 15 heats ran without a single re-start needed. Praise to the referee and riders for that. Given the longer interval of 25 mins for BEN fund collection and kids entertainment it was still all done and dusted in under two hours. -

For fans playing "Championship riders in the Premiership Bingo" tonight's meeting is:- Edinburgh / Leicester / Sheffield / Somerset + three others versus Berwick / Leicester / Eastbourne / Redcar / Sheffield / Somerset + one other. Positive spin: No r/r tonight -

Based on original team declarations is Chris Harris guesting in place of himself? -
Yipes..... this post could get Wolves fans agreeing with a Cradley fan.
-
How about pairing Thorssell & Morris together. Then at least one of their averages should improve...... Oh... we have
-
Not too bad a journey back. Sadly "Buster C" Track Repairs active near M42 when four lanes reduced to one inside line only! Thumbs up to Swindon presenters tonight. Excellent banter and quality interviewing and comments. Great last heat from Batchelor...... just like the old days.... send the fans home Happy well the Home Fans at least!!!!
-
The polar bear is called Peppy (from peppermint). I learnt this from a Pub Quiz we go to when the speedway isn't running..... which is quite often these days
-
So last month''s Wolves #1 looks to be joining Edinburgh in the "lower" division. Shows again how diluted the alleged Premiership top division has become!
-
Only four pages on here sums it up. Too many track shadows / poor filming - reminded me of Peterborough. Sad times...... will need an "official forum site" the way things are going!!! Bananas...

Thought that was a Phil Collins song???

If we had a rider capable of being a number one then Ashley wouldn't be under pressure. He's a safe, solid rider, a Wolves man through and through. After his injury at King's Lynn and subsequent comeback he should not be under the spotlight. He's the type of rider that's made the Wolves a team to follow. I've followed the Wolves since the 60's and I follow the team - the Wolf pack. It was a good enough seven on paper at the start of the season. Get behind them and watch 'em win away. Just wish it was a home match every Monday and a damn site more teams than seven..... and No Doubling Up
