Will NORA allowing ex-referees free admission to the meeting be a good enough sweetener to get this sorted?
-
As a Wolves fan it hurts me to recall that John Osborne, the West Bromwich goalie was very good at Quiz Ball.
-
Lancaster "Bombers" Slough "Berks" Epsom "Salts"
-
Presume it means there might be someone in the crowd who could takeover if the nominated ref fails to make it to the track?
-
Are you saying 'Jackie Wilson'?
-
Brilliant: Reminds me of school reports in the old days! I would certainly like to read your 'school reports' on other riders!
-
And if he could sing "Rockin' Robin" it could save Swindon as well

Eastbourne's 'Cheesy Chips' always went down well... especially after a few beers beforehand at The Cricketers Arms in Berwick. (Sadly missed).

Is this real???

'Steam Railway' - on annual subscription its £3.90 for each monthly edition. Excellent pictures and articles.

I can't help either, but would welcome knowing which Pub it's in? For some reason Tetbury makes me think of Tig Perry. My mate says the picture can't be recent because the tyres look in good condition. (Sorry)

Great respect to you. The best we got was a few tangles with Sam Messer and his uneducated colleagues on the back straight @ Wudley Dud.

Four 'Speedy Stars' and one Steam Railway' mag arrived today. Now up to date. Postie said the train strike was probably to blame for the delay in the one magazine!

I'm advised that the 'BabelFish translator' converts the Russian word 'Sayfutdinov' into the English word 'Tungate'. Does this help the conundrum?
-
Just watch out for the bits of stock car debris below the track surface.

I'm four copies adrift.... has the Jubilee Final been run yet?
-
Wolves fans always had to cope with 5th from bottom as a good achievement under Bridget & Parker, but had an invincible #1. We've just got used to it! As long as Cradley Heath finished below us it was a good season.
-
Well London Stadium is only used as a "Rice Field" these days! And 'Ackney gave us "Make It A Date, Friday at Eight" & was it "3.2 Overtakings A Race! If its within 45 miles of Swindon then Terry & Clark could "Go for it!'
-
... and as an ex Poole rider he has a "Best interests of Speedway Average reduction Voucher'
-
Rory would be very welcome back at Wolves as well
-
Once again are we heading towards the British Speedway philosophy of "Penalised for being successful, especially if you are British."........ unless you have a promoter in the family? British riders should ALL have a 25% reduction in average.
-
Will it stay within the 45 mins requirement to keep the myth going?

Leicester lions 2023 (PREMIERSHIP)
Lefty replied to PhilTheAce's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Yep, presume admission price goes up to see pretty much the same riders & a change of race night, why bother? -
The shortage of eggs at the pre AGM Wetherspoon Breakfast Bash caused chaos as egg replacement wasn't available. Premiership promoters claimed priority, but were out voted and had to scramble for more bacon. It all made a hash brown of things! The Chairman was blamed for the deal that had given one egg supplier (Hen-ilass) an exclusive supplier agreement.

Is that Cardiff in particular or Speedway in general?
