Terrible news for Lynn fans but this has been coming for years and the promoters have just ignored the warning signals I asked the question at Niels talk in at Lynn the other week did he like Busters idea of fixed race nights for the EL and he completely agreed that it made a lot of sense. Funny how it makes a lot of sense to supporters and riders but promoters don't seem to agree or not enough of them to make it happen.

So you are telling me he only rode half the season at no 5, which is basically what I was saying. It's still early doors but I haven't seen anything yet that stands out although Newcastle look better than last year already.

Personally I thnk it's pretty average. Kings class at this level but Covatti started at reserve last year and will undoubtably find it tougher riding in the likely no 5 position. Risager is very hit and miss and their are big question marks against Kerr, especially early doors, if two of the top 4 have quiet nights I think you could struggle especially away. A good season will depend heavily on Kerr and Castagna significantly improving their starting averages.

It is indeed a lovely stadium and will obviously develop more the longer It runs but the track and lack of racing completely ruin it, but then Hemsley knows best doesn't he.

Presumably because his most recent PL average is 2014 and that was 3.00.

It helps of course but having unlimited funds doesn't guarantee anything in speedway as our present owners proved during their tenure. Signing riders on false low assessed averages and good old fashioned luck helps more as does avoiding injuries.

Perry is in the PL final GSA for 2014 for Scunthorpe and is listed as a 3.00 He doesn't appear in the final PL GSA for 2015.

The sensible nights would be Wednesday/Thursday, 50% less flights for a start, PL could then ride any other nights and missing double uppers wouldn't be a problem for either league.

I don't deny that but Rathbone didn't mention Glasgow so when you quote people you should be accurate.

I think a lot of it is down to the fact the ones effectively running the sport just don't have the answers to the sports problems.

I agree Kildemand and Hampel are nailed on for a place in next years series plus either Jonsson or Lindback or both as surely the only real decision is who gets the fourth place. Its a shame the European Champion won't do it because he would give the series a real boost.
