Monarchs Vs Panthers - 9/10/15 Sf 2nd Leg
bigcatdiary replied to LagutaRacingFan's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I really don't know why you and others bother to reply to him, pretty much all of the Panthers fans ignore him/ as he has a degree in complete bollocks. -

Nothing I disagree with at all, especially about Ged Rathbone, communication and the team interacting with the fans. -

Difficult to say with any certainty but the crowds have been better this year and the feel good factor is definitely back. -
Torun Gp Tickets
bigcatdiary replied to markw40's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
A good Grand Prix with plenty of excellent racing but it was apparent that Torun wasn't a sell out, a friend who went said it was only about two thirds full which was surprising. Last time I went it was rammed and it had the middle area crammed with people standing. Is it getting too expensive or was their another reason. -

I can see a lot of sense in starting with that top 5, would undoubtedly keep the team spirit good as well. Hopefully not -
I have watched Thomsen in his meetings for Peterborough and he is undoubtedly a class act and would be an out and out no 1 in the PL, on his rolling average of 6.62 he is a steal either in the PL or EL on a conversion. His average for his meetings this year for Panthers is 8.50 or 9.16 with BP.

Nothing funny at all, the blokes been an absolute star this year both on the track and in the pits. -
I wouldn't altogether disagree with that statement.

Kent will be welcomed with open arms by the EL, yet another team that will be cannon fodder for teams like Poole and will clearly take some pressure of Leicester, Wolves and Lakeside as its yet another team to compete for the wooden spoon.

I think the possible absence of Wolbert or/and Clegg could make a difference, I see both are missing tonight and hopefully making a return in the second leg of the KOC Final at Armadale Friday, Monarchs would certainly miss Wolbert the way he has been riding recently. Riss was poor in the league meeting at Peterborough this year until his last ride when the track had gone really slick.

And that's the crux of the problem, the promoters who would and could have made the difference and changes have had their enthusiasm completely destroyed by the old establishment who want to run it the way they always have and until that cycle is broken nothing really will change.

What and you think racing Saturday's doesn't hinder that. It's the main reason you struggle for any riders especially the ones that ride in Poland or are committed to FIM qualifiers. And the sooner this is done the better off UK speedway will be.
