  1. Whether it's right or not that's what happens, it's common practice and has happened loads of times. I would think that's a view shared by a lot of supporters.
  2. In which case POOLE will revert back to their original declaration before the match and get RR for Watt, SCHLEIN either way D you really think Ford is not aware of this. Lol
  3. No if it's rained off they will just revert to their original line up and use RR, then re install GRAJCZONEK after the weekend. Ford knows how to play the system
  4. You get a very mixed bag on here Custer as you are well aware, some have a good idea what's going on and some have to have it spelled out in large letters. Of course you even get some who try to pull the wool over another's eyes and tell big porkies making out that some things in the sport are better than they what they generally are. Generally it would be beneficial to thnk everyone involved in the sport did so because they cared about it but my experience is that most just care about a particular team or club and are quite happy to shaft the opposition at every opportunity they get, although I will add that doesn't apply to all that I have met over the years, the fact that we have a complete joke of a rule book doesn't help but this sports administration needs to sort itself out and start pulling in the same direction.
  5. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion and views and rightly so but speedway is in the entertainment business and when it ceases to provide entertainment it loses its supporters, and no supporters ultimately means no more speedway.
  6. This is my 46th year of watching speedway and believe me I know crap when I see it and most of what's being served up at the moment is just that. Perhaps promoters should take more notice of the paying public and less notice of what riders, mechanics and team managers say and prepare tracks so they entertain the people who keep this sport going.
  7. Not sure I agree with that, although not the easiest track to ride Wolverhampton always used to be well prepared and had a reasonable amount of dirt on it.
  8. [quote name="whoswinnin86" post="2592851" timestamp="1427902260" Kings Lynn were always going to run out easy winners in this meeting and Sky Sports need to choose better meetings, big track v small track only going to go one way and it ended up being a poor meeting to watch. I agree, Lakeside are probably one of the worst travellers. Trouble is any visit to Arena is also a guaranteed borefest.
  9. Frankly it wasn't worth the effort the track was complete pants, if that's the very best anyone can do following the weather we have had in recent days then no I don't think its worth showing on sky. That was hardly exciting cut and thrust speedway was it, it did the sport no favours whatsoever and the fact that one team couldn't be bothered didn't help either. One genuine overtake by Schlein in 15 heats other than caused by mistakes on a tricky first/second bend says it all, it's hardly going to entice people to watch it live and surely that's the aim.
  10. I can only agree 15 heats and the only overtakes were courtesy of mistakes in heats 6 & 10, that was awful processional crap and as for Lakeside they were truly dreadful, complete and utter pants of a display. The only highlight was Robert Lambert, what a star.
  11. Question is why he riding for Belle Vue, info is he is owned by Scunthorpe, he should be riding for Ipswich.
  12. We lost ALLEN during the meeting so in the PL reserves are all we are able to use. RR running for a missing rider programmed at the start of the meeting means an extra ride for the rider one above him in the averages and those below but reserves are not limited to just one. EL ride under different rules and they can incorporate RR immediately when losing a rider mid meeting.
  13. Broken and dislocated right ankle is the verdict it appears and having an operation this morning. Jakobsen didn't appear to change his line approaching the bend and although he left it late to turn (Team mate on his inside) he was leading and it was just a racing accident.
  14. Bright sunshine all morning and more sun forecast for the rest of the day but I can see it being rather cold later.
  15. Rain now past and hopefully the track is better than last week, Simon Nielsen guests for Simon Lambert and Sam Masters for Edward Kennett as both are riding in the Lakeside v Leicester fixture. MDL fixture (Castleford v Milton Keynes) follows the main action. TEAMS PETERBOROUGH READYPOWER PANTHERS: Olly Allen, Lewis Blackbird, Oliver Greenwood, Robert Lambert, Simon Nielsen (guest), Ulrich Ostergaard, Michael Palm Toft. RYE HOUSE ROCKETS: Robin Aspegren, Luke Bowen, Steve Boxall, Nicolai Busk Jakobsen, Kasper Lykke, Sam Masters (guest), Anders Mellgren.
  16. Sunny afternoon meetings are always tricky but to be fair the track was slick to start with which certainly didn't suit the Panthers, they also never quite got the watering right. Same for both teams but Panthers couldn't get out of the traps, ALLEN was awful and Simon Lambert looked a different rider today.
  17. Lovely sunny morning in Peterborough ahead of this afternoons clash with Somerset, Michael Palm Toft makes his Panthers debut. Gates open at 1130 Teams: Readypower Panthers: Olly Allen, Lewis Blackbird, Ollie Greenwood, Robert Lambert, Simon Lambert, Ulrich Ostergaard, Michael Palm Toft. Somerset: Benji Compton, Josh Grajczonek, Brady Kurtz, Leigh Lanham, Paul Starke, Richie Worrall, Charles Wright.
  18. By all means email Graham Reeve, the manager of the SCB he will likely refer you to this rule like he has with me in the past. 16.3.5 The BSPA MC monitors all proposed moves and has the sole responsibility to approve all (re-)Declared Team Line-Ups having been satisfied they are in the best interests of the sport.
