  1. Certainly working at the moment we have won the last 3 away meetings using RR. I would sooner they rely on the team, they certainly haven’t let us down so far.
  2. It might have something to do with Premiership racenights being Monday and Thursday as doubling up riders ride Championship matches on all the other nights.
  3. Bearing in mind they have won all four matches I would have thought Wolves will pick Belle Vue given the choice, it’s the nearest track to them and Belle Vue have a fairly healthy travelling fan base which means if they make the final two very healthy attendances to finish the season.
  4. That was easily one of the better meetings at Ipswich in the last few years, generally it’s gate and go but their were several overtakes Thursday, unfortunately for Ipswich fans most of them were done by Panthers. Worse thing about Ipswich is the bloody road works and detours on the A14 coming home, it’s been like that for the last few times we have visited Foxhall.
  5. I second that about Crump, not nice to see him struggle like that. The bloke was once a legend around the Showground
  6. They did try and re declare but were turned down by the bspl is my information
  7. Peterborough host the Witches Monday looking to bank another three points, with all six Premiership teams in action they elect to use RR for the missing Ulrich Ostergaard (with team news again courtesy of Ipswich) and bring in Jack Thomas for the injured Jordan Palin. Bjarne Pedersen is listed as returning from his recent illness and Ipswich have again a full 1-7, it’s difficult to access whether it will be close or a comfortable home win but Ritchie Hawkins certainly thinks it’s the former. Weather forecast is very good. Teams PETERBOROUGH: 1. R/R for Ulrich Ostergaard 7.09 2. Bjarne Pedersen 6.41 3. Michael Palm Toft 6.83 4. Scott Nicholls 6.37 © 5. Chris Harris 6.37 6. Jack Thomas (G) (RS) 7. Hans Andersen 6.20. IPSWICH: 1. Danny King 7.46 © 2. Paul Starke 4.85 3. Jason Crump 5.54 4. Jake Allen 4.88 5. Craig Cook 7.23 6. Anders Rowe 4.84 7. Drew Kemp (RS).
  8. Perhaps it would have been a good idea to have the jab the day after a meeting rather than a day before
  9. Another fabulous win and to be fair it wasn’t as close as I thought it would be, the witches missed Allen and Cook wasn’t at his best either. The guests were a mixed bag with both Riss and Jorgensen looking up for it early doors but the less said about agent Flint the better. But the real difference was the Panthers quartet who all rode really well and they kept the momentum going with some excellent racing and overtakes. King looked very quick all night but he was the only one who impressed on a poor night for Ipswich.
  10. Pleased he did, you would have been better served with a guest.
  11. I would say that much depends on what they do tonight.
  12. The last remaining home match for the Witches as they go up against the Panthers in the B fixture. Peterborough have already confirmed their place in the play offs but still haven’t given up catching league table leaders Wolves so will be looking to carry on their excellent away form this year although they do have some injury problems. Thomas Jorgensen, Erik Riss and Leon Flint deputise for Ulrich Ostergaard, Bjarne Pedersen and Jordan Palin who all miss this match for different reasons. It looks like another close fought match and it’s difficult to predict a winner. Teams. IPSWICH: 1. Danny King 7.46 © 2. Paul Starke 4.85 3. Jason Crump 5.54 4. Jake Allen 4.88 5. Craig Cook 7.23 6. Anders Rowe 4.84 7. Drew Kemp (RS). PETERBOROUGH: 1. Thomas Jorgensen (g) 7.09 2. Erik Riss (g) 6.41 3. Michael Palm Toft 6.83 4. Scott Nicholls 6.37 © 5. Chris Harris 6.37 6. Leon Flint (g) (RS) 7. Hans Andersen 6.20.
  13. Rob Lyon is very good at his job as most Panthers fans know, he has played a big part in our success this year and most trust his judgement. Of course not everyone agrees it wouldn’t be a forum if it was. We will wait and see, could be very close.
  14. Bottom line is Cook withheld his services for whatever reason and clearly Ipswich reported that and rightly got a facility. The upshot of that is Riders are then given generally a 7 day suspension or longer depending on circumstances, as the Ipswich press release says his return is subject to SCB approval. A lot of the problem is clubs don’t properly explain riders absences, Pedersen and Palin are missing for the Panthers, nothings been said explaining why, either by Peterborough Plymouth or Scunthorpe. Its doesn’t help but fuel suspicion and rumour on the internet.
  15. When you see the repeated dross that’s served up in the GP,s this year it’s not hard to see why people are giving up on it, if going forward Eurosport put this on subscription channels I can think of a few more that won’t bother including me.
  16. It should be exactly the same bearing in mind Ipswich got a facility, I presume that’s why Cooks return on Thursday is subject to start permission from the SCB.
  17. Which begs the question why isn’t Poole in the Premiership. ?
  18. I am staggered that their is no preview of todays fixture on either the Plymouth website or the Newcastle website. ( just checked both) Pretty much sums up the current state of play.
  19. Your not the only one thinking that, it’s not as though NBJ adds anything.
  20. I doubt he will get another booking for Wolves this year, I would be surprised if he wasn’t on a fixed fee for the match, a lot of riders try that now.
