RR is undoubtedly a cheaper option these days as some riders attempt to hold clubs to ransom. -

It doesn’t really matter what gets put in the rule book because they either ignore it or change it. Nothing set in stone -
Premiership Play-Off Ties CONFIRMED
bigcatdiary replied to BartoszZmarzlikFan's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
To be fair CVS has stated he wanted the first leg first and Peterborough have said they wanted the second leg so that’s pretty clear cut to me. -
I said Jim McGregor because I was told it was him and I saw him in the pits before the meeting started, Programme stated Dave Robinson, unfortunately the programme this year has been wrong on a few occasions. I didn’t see either Dave Robinson or Mick Bates on the night although TV meetings used to have a steward as well. I am not sure if they still do this.

The track last night was completely different to what we have had all year, the fact that the outside was modelled on the Daugavpils track at the weekend just compounded the problem if you missed the start, which unfortunately we did on a regular basis. Any attempt to come off the quicker inside line meant you generally went backwards. Palm Toft and Palin aside the team was poor and I haven’t said that much this year, Sheffield deservedly won last night. I am hoping it was a wake up call but if we get any more tracks like that matches won’t be the only thing we lose.

Premiership 012.4 FACILITIES Speedway Control Bureau Regulations Absent rider(s) 1 - 3 by MA. G or RR The SCB Regulations are clearly available to view for free on the SCB website under downloads -
Good question but if it was a serious competition all the best riders would be in it, as it is it’s barely watchable. Slovenia’s chances of making the final was ended when Zagar didn’t ride, Laguta and Sayfutdinov wouldn't ride for the money on offer apparently and that was after winning it 3 times. The track last night was nearly as bad as Friday, what a dreadful advert for a FIM event, following on from the GP Chellenge. Shocking that all the teams made a show about naming riders and then Italy didn’t even have a reserve, it came across very amateurish.

Really need to scrap the TS rule, if it’s to keep meetings close then their should be no limit to how many you can have if you go 8 points behind, but if clubs cannot afford to do that then scrap it, let’s be fair it favours the top heavy teams with out and out no 1’s. -
Sheffield Tigers v Peterborough Panthers - Thursday

Continued use of RR for match after match clearly takes a toll on man and machine and I think they will mix and match it as they see it over the next few weeks. I am very impressed with Robs managing style and it’s clear the team do as well. -

What a meeting, it was nip and tuck up to halfway and then after a team talk from Rob Lyon the Panthers just blitzed them in the second half with some astounding racing with Chris Harris excelling with a last to first in heat 13. Not really convinced that Guests for Ulrich have worked, we seem to be better with RR, Mountain was excellent though and I would certainly give him another ride. Another really great team performance, roll on Monday. -

Got 4 at Ipswich -
Their is a lot of whittling full stop, god knows why they have had a terrific season so far and are on a fantastic run of results.

Average I could live with, I hope he is better than Flint was at Ipswich

This years Truckfest was the last I have been told but I understand that speedway is confirmed for at least another 3 years and possibly longer. -

I would have thought it unlikely with Zmarzlik, Janowski, Dudek and Przedpelski already in place for 2022. -

Like a lot of this years GP,s it livened up a bit in the last few races but let’s be honest it wasn’t a very good start when we had clouds of dust for the first few heats. Their just doesn’t seem to be much importance on putting together a track that riders can race on, it’s mostly all gate and go with grippy inside lines preventing any passing opportunities. The only riders who seem to be able to pass anyone consistently are Laguta or Zmarzlik who seem to be a good 10 mph faster than everyone else. And what the hells has happened to Janowski, he started like a definite podium contender and then suddenly he has gone into the Kasprzak and Berntzon mode.
