It isn’t, read the advert, it’s the East of England Agricultural Society selling THEIR equipment.

Peterborough Panthers Speedway Supporters Club have been running what we call a 100 club for years, members pay £10 a month and 50% of money collected each month is paid out to 3 lucky members. Its been running for many years and provides the owners with cash for a variety of articles from air bags, fence panels, track equipment, shale etc or just funds to pay the maintenance bills and running costs associated with a speedway club. Keith Chapman is the latest owner to benefit and has remarked on it several times, this is in addition to the 50/50 raffle at every home meeting.

All the equipment sold belongs to the outgoing SHOWGROUND owners, all the speedway tractors and track equipment is in the speedway compound or at Lynn under the control of Buster Chapman. The new Showground owners declined to buy the existing equipment so it’s been sold. It doesn’t affect the speedway at all.

What’s strange but not unusual is no statement from Len Silver denying this or explaining what has happened. -

Belle Vue v Peterborough Panthers - Grand Final

It’s easier to just ring Pinegen and pay for one over the phone. -
I seriously doubt he will be on Peterborough’s list.

Rule change for tape exclusion
bigcatdiary replied to Endeavour's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Their is a better way, just exclude any rider who moves prior to the start when the green light is on, no replacement. This would eradicate all the nonsense at the tapes in a few meetings. Very few riders get excluded for a second offence in a meeting having been officially warned once, so they clearly know they get no leeway for trying to cheat. -
I wouldn’t touch him with a barge pole

This years team was written off by pretty much everyone early doors, it didn’t stop them winning the league.

Afraid I agree, I would have said Lynn is a better choice if he really wants to return. Harris, Nicholls, Andersen, MPT and Palin is a good start and of course Rob Lyon. I would like Ostergaard as well but next years points limit could well depend on that.
