  1. Spot on Gordon Pairman and the point about vested interest is worth mentioning again, until we have people with integrity and complete honesty the sport in this country will continue to get worse.
  2. And this clearly shows how important the SON is to the riders this year, some just cannot be bothered and some of the Federations just let it happen. Very Amateurish.
  3. I rather suspect the weather will have the biggest say in what happens this year
  4. Any exclusion or retirement in the final and they lose it doesn’t matter how many points they are in front. I really don’t see why 21 heats cannot decide it, they always seem to over complicate things like the new GP scoring system.
  5. Don’t know for Belle Vue but Peterborough between 3000 and 3500.
  6. Probably because he was in Denmark, it makes team photographs quite difficult.
  7. I thought the two finals were a superb advert for the sport with two very good teams going at it for the full 30 heats, both tracks produced good racing and their cannot be any doubt that the best team won the title. The Panthers were written off by pretty much everyone at the start of the season but they showed good form throughout the campaign and carried on winning pretty much everywhere, apart from a few guests we finished the season with the same 1-7 we started with, we had a few injuries and attempts were made to change things but as per usual we got little if any help from the sports administrators which of course makes our success even sweeter. Every single rider contributed to our success so it’s hard to single out one rider, they all rode well over the season and some of them when they were carrying injuries but they all deserve credit for an outstanding season and the team spirit was the best I have ever seen in over 50 years watching. A special mention must be made for Rob Lyon, when he was made team manager I applauded the choice and he has done even better than I thought he would, he is light years ahead of some of his rivals and had a brilliant relationship with his riders. Keith Chapman has a lot of critics but he put his money where his mouth was and he has warmed to a lot of Peterborough supporters and trackstaff, he has the backing of the supporters club and has truly delivered, nobody can ask for anymore.
  8. Well Peterborough hasn’t been given any special dispensation so far so don’t expect that will change anytime soon. Dispensation is only given to certain teams and as per usual Panthers isn’t one of them.
  9. And when exactly have U.K. speedway ever disclosed anything. It doesn’t happen.
  10. I think you will find we have had that for years.
  11. Tactical's were initially invented to make matches closer, I can remember when their was no limit to tac subs providing a team was 6 behind, over the years the rule has been played with and now we have just one which is frankly ridiculous but the cost of them clearly pays a part. You either should allow teams to play tactical’s as and when teams are 6/8 behind or scrap them altogether, frankly I don’t see the need for them anymore they undoubtedly don’t stop bigger scoreline’s and favour the teams with big hitters rather than the more solid teams.
  12. Been using exactly that on my iPad for years, really surprised it’s not taken off more.
  13. Well to be fair pretty much all of the sensible/normal Panthers fans ignore the idiot, it’s a shame everyone else doesn’t.
  14. I think one of the problems was the inside is lower than the rest of the track and was where the laying water was Monday so consequently it was still very grippy. Most of the Panthers team prefer it to be grippy on the outside.
  15. So basically they are saying Kerr at no 2 is better than utilising Harris, Nicholls, Andersen, MPT or Pedersen. That just doesn’t make any sense to me.
