  1. To be fair the Hammers were on a different planet tonight and were much quicker out the of the gate on a track which was greasy early doors and was as bald as a badgers bum. If it had got to heat 10 we couldn’t have complained but unfortunately you didn’t and the aggravation you caused at Peterborough the other week after our light failure and delay has really come me back to haunt you. The BSPA Results service states meeting abandoned result does not stand, effectively that means it needs restaging, if you cannot do that you forfeit the tie.
  2. I sympathise but this match was due to be staged first on the 6th October and their doesn’t appear to have been any great urgency to stage it despite time rapidly running out, a point I raised on an earlier thread.
  3. The word being mentioned tonight was Karma, I don’t think anybody expected it to arise quite so quickly. Interesting situation now that the official results state result does not stand. It was being said tonight that Lakeside only now have one more available date, which of course is there for the final should they have made it. This meeting should have been held on the 6th October, the fact that it still hasn’t been decided is down to Lakeside the weather and floodlight failure.
  4. Starting at 8.00 doesn’t help but certain clubs do seem to have regular late finishes.
  5. I don’t think much of some promoters especially when they agree to disregard regulations. Until they learn to work together for the greater good of the sport then it’s doomed, BT deal or not
  6. And it wasn’t within the rules to use Morris, irrespective of whether Chapman, Godfrey and Vatcher agreed to do so.
  7. To be honest that’s probably what should happen with every fixture but the reality is very different I can assure you.
  8. Welcome back at Peterborough anytime as far as I am concerned.
  9. After two rain offs and two weeks to go I am surprised this isn’t planned some time this week as running it next Sunday wipes out yet another week.
  10. What we need is weather reports now, is their anyone near to the track that can give us an update.
  11. Shouldn’t have been testing an engine in an important match.
  12. So let Tony Steele & Jim Lawrence rewrite the relevant sections, this has been offered countless times.
  13. And just to show how consistent the SCB are they have suspended Willie Dishington for making a mistake in the play Off SF between Belle Vue and Lynn when he incorrectly ruled out Steve Worrall for a heat 15 ride, but appear quite happy for an SCB official to allow Morris to ride for Poole when his average rules him out. Its wrong and in my view raises questions on the integrity and honesty of the SCB official allowing it.
  14. Well I have been several times to Scunthorpe over the last few years and being brutally honest I don’t know how they get by, we have counted the fans on some occasions and never got by more than three or four hundred at the very most and often a lot less.
  15. Pleased I am not the only one who thought the racing was complete pants.
  16. What’s the cock up, Morris is ineligible to ride tomorrow, it’s against the rules. Plain and simple. if the SCB allow this they it shows them up to be complicit and not worth their existence.
  17. Of course that’s assuming their are enough riders still around that can or want to guest, it appears they are getting a bit thin, Poole and Lynn with Morris & Ellis a good example.
  18. I was told Sunday that Wells has gone home, indeed that’s a common theme as most teams are finished. Interesting that rules do not allow teams to use guest riders from the other play Off qualifiers. Thats another well thought out rule.
  19. And wasn’t Worrall good, 6+1 It will be interesting to see what he does here next week
