Correct, they certainly refused one of the Peterborough ones towards the end.

I think some team signings could make a difference to the mood, especially some good ones.

Championship and Poland

Probably because as the home side they likely wouldn’t get a facility if one or more of their team was riding abroad, they will also now find out that they could struggle to get teams to commit to their home fixtures, especially re arranged ones. As for the UK if riders cannot commit to doubling up in this country then let them just ride in the Premiership. -
Not a chance, Bacon every time.

Panthers up for sale.

What was worrying about the many articles in this weeks star was that not many had many good ideas of how to fix the problems. -
Panthers up for sale.

Problem being as Flagrag says getting top riders to commit to Sundays in the U.K. is difficult as most want to ride in Poland. I dare say weekdays at the Showground will be better and more freely available but will enough fans attend to make it a viable propersition, local derbies will help especially if Ipswich sign up to the same league as well. I don’t mind what night they ride as long as the team is competitive. -

Congratulations Workington, I bet that was sweet. -
Regulations don’t allow you to concede ties, fixtures have to be completed, it used to be fairly substantial fines but not sure what it is now Looking at the crowd I reckon it cost Lakeside a fortune last night. We did actually see a few overtakes tonight which is pretty rare at Rye recently but it’s mainly gate and go, the track grading was a complete waste of time their was hardly any loose dirt on it.

He never has been unfortunately. If the decision when first asked had been No then I doubt it would have surprised anyone and not received any real backlash but having been told via email by the SCB that it was ok and then mid yesterday evening no it wasn’t is ridiculous and it put Peterborough in a then difficult position of trying to get a guest with very little if any notice. No doubt in the not too distant future we will have Cook saying that Lakeside are dissapointed that supporters are seemingly not supporting the Lakeside move to Rye House and the club is losing money hand over fist. It truly beggars belief that the sport in this country continues to shoot itself in the foot at every opportunity, but it can come as no real surprise to anyone as to why it’s in the state it currently finds itself.

These sort of decisions are generally made early to avoid problems on race days, I must be honest and say I thought he would be ineligible but the abandonment theory sounds likely. Has their been a Hammers objection to him riding ? It will be interesting to see how many Peterborough supporters turn up tonight, as it was quite a healthy turn out Sunday.
