Perhaps the fact that the last meeting at Rye was on Saturday 15th and the next is Sunday 23rd, generally this rule prevented guests appearing at the same track every week on the same day. It now seems to confirm that the actual race day (Saturday) is counted as day 1 which makes Sunday week as day 9, if Lakeside had planned to stage this next Saturday then Barker clearly would have been ineligible.

Panthers meet home and away (Providing the weather allows) for a semi final place against Scunthorpe, following a planned 2.00pm start at Lakeside the action moves on to 7.00pm at Peterborough. The weather forecast for Peterborough has improved over the last 24 hours and it’s now looking more promising this will go ahead. teams Peterborough - Barker, Grondal, Wilson Dean, Palm Toft, Ostergaard, Stewart, Lambert. Lakeside - Lawson, Morley, Ellis, Newman, Summers, Wajtnecht, Bowtell.

Interesting that the Newcastle match report doesn’t mention why Lindgren was missing either. -
Very possibly, but then at least this way both clubs get the bonus of good support at either venue

I thought both guests were good on Sunday as Jorgensen covered for Nicholls well. -
Lakeside Future In Serious Doubt

I am not sure a 9pm start on Saturday will attract too much travelling support. Do Rye have a time curfew -

Lakeside away now in the fixtures as the second part of a double header at Rye House on Saturday 15th September. -
I do wonder if the start Marshall was just doing what he was told. This GP was dreadful although clearly a fair bit of that was down to the weather which had left the track in a dreadful state, but from the gate processions do nothing to encourage support in fact rather the opposite. Unfortunately with little racing last night it highlighted a dreadful decision by a referee and this isn’t the first dreadful mistake by a referee this year. The FIM need to get a grip on this now because poor GP,s and poor referees make for poor attendances. If the FIM have tightened up on gardening at the start then they should come clean and say so. Last nights GP hasn’t exactly tempted me to attend Krsko in the future which is a shame because friends have enjoyed GP,s there in the past.

Light cloud and a fresh breeze is the forecast although it shows 21c at around start time, it’s currently quite bright and looks to be a reasonable day. -
Scunthorpe v Workington shield semi finals

To be fair it’s nice to see the SCB taking a stance for a change, especially against the BSPA vice chairman Its also interesting that nothing official has been released about the matter either, not from Scunthorpe or the SCB. -

I think most people understand that it’s the why that’s still to be revealed.
